This is a durable mattress. My niece bounced up and down on this mattress and slid it all over the floor for two days straight, and it stayed firm and lost no air at all. Inflating it was easy because it has a built-in plug, so you need electricity to use the inflation mechanism. That same feature can also deflate the mattress. I made the mistake of deflating it without using the pump, and it took almost an hour to fully deflate. This mattress is comfortable and it has a raised-up area at the top that serves as a pillow. I camp a LOT. I bought this to replace my old queen-sized air mattress so I could have more floor space in my tent. It inflates VERY quickly when you plug it in; less so when using a battery-powered pump. It’s comfy and sturdy, and after the first time I aired it up and let it settle (air mattresses stretch out the first time you inflate them and have to be topped up after the first few hours), it’s held air and remained supportive throughout camping weekends of 3-5 days’ duration without needing to be re-inflated. ... show more

This is a very firm and sturdy blow up mattress. The height is perfect as it allows you to get on and off fairly easily. I bought it to sleep on for a few days before my bed arrived. I kept the unit plugged in and had to occasionally turn it on to the plump up the bed, generally before getting in at night. It did deflate slightly during the day, but it generally stayed inflated. The mattress is COLD, whether you place in on carpet or wood floors. The felt lining on top does little to keep the mattress warm. I had just one sheet on it so I recommend you place a blanket or other insulation and warm barrier between the mattress and your sheet to stay warm. Otherwise you'll be rather uncomfortable. Update: I purchased 2 mattress pads and a heated mattress cover to add to the bed. I place the heated cover in between the mattress covers. With the heated cover on low, you'll be very comfortable and toasty. ... show more

We needed a twin air mattress this fit the bill. It’s easy to inflate and deflate and everything is built in, so there’s no loose parts to keep track of. The cord isn’t very long so if the mattress isn’t situated close to an outlet you may need an extension cord, but the cord will roll up and fit into a recessed area within the mattress so it is tidy. To fill the mattress is simple but to turn it off I kept accidentally switching to a manual “deflate” before i would hit “close” so it takes a bit of getting used to, but it’s easy to figure out. I can’t speak for longevity, I only used it once. The smell is strong once you pull it out of the box, then there’s no smell when it’s set up. Wonderful quality for the price! Comfy and convenient. Only downside was the quality of the patches, we got a hole and the patches that were included did not seal at all so ended up having to buy a whole new mattress.
