I ordered two of the three drawer dressers and we are using as nightstands. I used danish oil and they came out even better than I had hoped! Pictures do not do these Justice. They are all wood. We added holes through the back of the cabinet and drawers which allows us to keep our electronics out of sight. This dresser is easy to assemble and the parawood parts are sturdy and nice looking. I purchased from this company previously but the quality has decreased. I took off one star because the plywood used to make the drawer sides is cheap and full of voids. The pilot holes pre-drilled for the screws are too small causing the plywood to split when screwing them in. I hand screwed everything so this shouldn't have happened. I didn't have this problem with the previous piece of furniture I had purchased which had higher quality plywood for the drawer sides. I was prepared to give this four stars until the next problem. While screwing in one of the center braces, I screwed too long and drove the screw through the side of the chest, creating a good sized hole. This was entirely avoidable if the manufacturer had countersunk the screw holes so that the screw couldn't extend past a certain point. They actually did this for most of the screw holes, except for four, so I don't know why they didn't do it for all of them. Luckily, I have wood glue handy so I can fix both of these issues. However, at this price point, I shouldn't have to. If it weren't for these problems, I would have given it five stars. It's a nice looking piece of furniture, the drawers slide smoothly and have reinforced bottoms, and the drawers lined up well. ... show more

Cons First: -All of the draw slides are already preinstalled on the inside walls of the dresser prior to packaging. Some of the drawer slides were set unevenly to their partner on the other side. This made certain drawers protrude and not close evenly after everything was assembled. I had to remove them with a screw driver and reinstall them in the correct position. Not a huge deal if you’re handy, only took a few extra minutes with a tape measure to line it all up and reinstall slides. -Box arrived dinged up but it was packaged very well and protected inside. -The two thin pieces of backing that slide into the rear of the dresser were warped but straightened out once slid into their final positions and everything was tightened. -You don’t get any extra hardware. They provide exactly as many screws as you need. Don’t drop or lose them while unpacking. Pros: - Arrived 1 week prior to the expected delivery date. This was a pleasant surprise. -It is packaged and protected well inside the bix. A ton of styrofoam, cardboard protectors, and plastic wrap. -Assembly was simple and straight forward. I put it together by myself in about an hour. Assemble it on a soft surface to avoid scratching any of the pieces. -Ready for finish right out of the box as advertised. Took stain extremely well and required zero prep other than a quick wet wipe. It was glass smooth upon arrival. Used 1 coat of Minwax Waterbased Semi Transparent Dark Walnut and finished with 2 coats of Polycrylic. The wood drank up the stain beautifully. I think it turned out great. Conclusion: I think the dresser turned out great and all the issues presented during assembly were easily resolved. I believe it’s overpriced a bit especially since it arrives unfinished. We needed a dresser we could stain for a bedroom and didn’t want to settle for lookalike mdf or partical board materials. I recommend staining/painting the pieces all individually prior to assembly. Will check back in after some use if I remember to and update on how it has held up. Definitely recommend purchasing new draw pulls. Really helps give it a fancier look than the stock ones. ... show more

Nice dresser for the money. Solid rubberwood and takes finish well. It also comes nicely sanded out of the box so I just ran over it with a tack cloth and slapped on 3 coats of Minwood wipe-on poly. (I also upgraded the knobs since I didn't like the wooden ones it comes with.) The drawer hardware is cheap but functional - I thought about adding some full extension drawer glides but probably won't bother. ... show more

We got this on a significant sale, but I'm sufficive to say that paying full price would have been worth it. It's solid and much better quality than a partical board piece sold for the same price in a store. Cudos to the maker. Good job. It stained easily and came packaged immaculately.

Dresser arrived with all of its parts intact. The plywood for some of the drawer sides was separating in spots so it required gluing and clamping before assembly, a very minor issue. It was simple to put together, and, otherwise without blemish. However, a few days after assembly, and just a few days before staining/finishing, cracks started to appear at rather odd locations (places that would not be subject to any stress related to assembly, such as the side panel or the top). I suspect that large rubberwood furniture is not stable enough to handle the stress of even very careful moving once assembled. I've not had any problems with smaller pieces that I have purchased from this company. It did take stain and finishing very well, and despite the cracks, the dresser looks pretty good. Hopefully, once the stain/varnish is fully cured, the finish will help provide some stability. ... show more
