I purchased two of these cabinets in the 72"H x 36"W x 18"D size to store my bulk paper goods and cleaning supplies in. I hate clutter, and because of a lack of storage space in my house, I had to put our bulk items in a corner of the family room. These cabinets are perfect for my needs, and I am very happy with my purchase. My home looks so much more neat and organized now. The shelf height is easily adjustable, and once assembled, the cabinets are lightweight and easy to move. One shelf can store 18 rolls of paper towels or 63 large rolls of toilet paper. The cabinets are made of very thin metal, and even though they were packaged well to ship, there were a couple areas that were slightly bent, but were easily returned to the proper shape. The first cabinet took us a little over an hour to assemble, and the second only took about 45 minutes since we knew how they went together by that point. I should note that I have a lot of experience assembling furniture and other items, so it may not be quite as easy for some people. It does take two people to assemble though, since the pieces are very large. We did not have any problems with pieces/doors not lining up. Even though I feel the cabinets were packaged well for shipping, I do wish the seller could find a way to package them using less styrofoam. There is a LOT of styrofoam, and it is going to take us a few weeks to get rid of it all because of limited space in our trash bin. Plus, I don't like the idea of all that styrofoam going to a landfill. ... show more

    • Great Cabinet - The problem is SHIPPING!!

I ordered 4 of these cabinets for storage in my garage. The cabinets themselves are great and I am happy with them. They are sturdy, once assembled, assemble fairly easily, and a good value for the price. The problem is SHIPPING! I have no doubt they left the factory in perfect condition, but 2 of the 4 cabinets arrived with dented parts. Kudos to the company for providing replacements very quickly, with no hassle, but the 2 replacement cabinets they shipped also arrived with dented parts. (Thankfully, I was able to assemble 2 mostly non-dented cabinets from the 4 with dented parts.) If you order this cabinet, be sure to check for damage on the outside of the box when it arrives. Based on 4 of 6 cabinets I received having dented parts, the odds are very high that your cabinet will arrive with some damaged parts. The cabinet is shipped in a single large box, and it is pretty heavy (listed as 100 pounds in the product description). I suspect the damage is due to the shipper's (FedEx) terminal warehouse workers struggling to handle the heavy boxes. The cabinets are packed with metal boxes protecting both ends of the box and a short metal "sleeve" on the side and has Styrofoam pieces and sheeting, but that apparently doesn't provide enough protection. Perhaps the solution is to break the shipment into two boxes, or to pack the cabinet with packing materials which better protect the cabinet components. I would have rated the cabinet 5 stars if not for the ones which arrived dented, which is not a fault of the cabinet itself, but the fault of the shipper/packaging. ... show more

    • Difficult to set up and flimsy

It was difficult to set up and flimsy. When I finally finished setting up this cabinet after the door fell apart many times due to weak hinges and the roof caved in not sturdy ( you will see what I am talking about) I hung up a couple of shirts, its not deep enough for regular hangers I had to push the stuff in then close the door. I had to tape the roof so it wouldn't keep caving in. I'm so disgusted with this product. I cannot send it back because it's tooooo heavy to carry to the local UPS and I needed a cabinet desperately. This was a waste of money I am so upset. ... show more

These shelves were packed well with metal reenforcement on the sides and ends. What is really sad is that the metal protection panels are much thicker than the actual product. If they made the unit out of the packing material, then it would be amazing. The panels are flimsy and bend easily. It is sturdy enough when assembled for light duty storage. The lock is pointless. You can bend the doors open if you really wanted inside. It is easy to strip the screws by over tightening. ... show more
