We have a lot of sporting goods and these items tend to get thrown into totes and piled up during the seasons. Having storage has been a priority for a long time. The price point was a draw, but we were leery about the sturdiness of the cabinets. We ended up ordering two of them. The packing is very good. No flimsy paper ends to protect the corners, but steel! We may be able to reuse them in another project. The pieces and instructions are pretty clear. There are 2 screws that go on the bottom shelf to the back two pieces (B & C). Lay down the unit to access this area from underneath. That part of the instructions is not very clear. The top, part H, is a struggle. Put on one side then struggle to get to the other. It does fit, I promise. We had a little bend in the underside that was a hindrance, but straightened up a little to get it to fit. The adjustable shelves are nice. We will be able to arrange things better as we wind down on our sports for winter. I am considering buying some more. The height and length are perfect for our area.

I was impressed from the moment I opened the package. The shipping box had huge sheet metal inserts in all corners of the box for reinforcement. I have never seen that level of care for the shipping box before! The amount of planning to perfectly fit all pieces in the shipping box was obvious. Parts were labeled and identified in the instructions well. The instructions even started with a picture of the finished product with the individual pieces labeled so you have an overview before starting the assembly. Then, to my pleasant surprise, the pieces of the cabinet are designed to interlock together and then screwed tight too. The design is fantastic! The instructions are straight forward diagrams. The only negative I could say is that the diagram for installing the handle with the door rods attaching to it could have been divided into two pages and enlarged some of the views. The diagrams were pretty dang small for some of the placement of little pieces for where the rods attach to the handle. I actually missed attaching the rod to the handle mechanism and had to pull the otter key back out to correct the error. Otherwise, very impressed!!!

I ordered five of these cabinets for our small retail shop, and assembled all five by myself. They ship pretty well-packaged. Flat-pack with lots of foam and reinforced metal corners on the box so the corners can't get damaged. I only had damage on two of the five cabinets. Stuff like a small ding in an area that doesn't show, or a broken spot-weld in a place that doesn't affect the integrity of the cabinet once it's built. Overall I'd definitely buy these again. Great value for the money. You can assemble them by yourself if you have something like an empty box around - you really just need a "second person" to hold some of the flimsy metal pieces in place while they get screwed in. A box (even the box this ships in) works just fine to support any pieces. No second person needed really. These shipped a long way to no surprise that there's a few small dings and broken welds. Nothing that actually affects the cabinets in any way once they're assembled. After I assembled the first cabinet, the rest only took about 15 minutes each to assemble. The instructions are vague as other reviews mention but also the pieces are fairly easy to figure out. Really not that hard to assemble if you just look at it and think through it. Once assembled these cabinets are fairly sturdy. They can support a lot of weight as long as you don't put the weight right in the middle of any of the metal panels. All the edges and corners are supported fairly well though. I can stand on this cabinet no problem.

I redid my garage and these are perfect. Then redid my closet, bought two more. The engineering that went into the packaging alone, is incredible. The design made each component nest into the next. No wasted box space. My 6' cabinets weighed about 100 pounds, in the box so be prepared for that. (Each one). I assembled them myself and only took about an hour for the cabinet and then maybe 15 minutes for the latch which I did later. The packaging which I am raving about, was full of foam board to protect the metal parts and then further, galvanized steel rectangular boxes that went over the ends and sides to protect them from shipping damage. Those boxes, by the way, make great tool trays by drilling a couple mounting holes and screwing them to the garage wall. Very well down. Wish I had more places for more of them.

We needed another, so I reordered it. 2nd cabinet is shorter, not as wide, flimsier. Not happy with it all. Having two cabinets side by side that don't match distracts from our space.

The metal gauge thickness is thin, most parts I received had warping, bending. Out of three, two shelves were broken. The items were replaced by the company but we are not happy with the quality and overall experience. Also quiet difficult to assemble, the printed instructions are not very clear

Needed extra storage in my garage. This unit fit perfectly. Comes in two heavy boxes. All the holes lined up great and I put it together in a little over one hour. I was impressed with how well it was packed. All parts were easily identified. It was worth the extra cost to get the eighteen inch depth. I looked at smaller ones, but this gave me that little extra space for large items.
