This dog toy has been an absolute game-changer in our house! My usually picky pup is absolutely obsessed with it. This is an excellent pup approved toy that spins and has cute intermittent bark. My girl Labrador loved the little barking toy and enjoyed the intermittent spin of the rope. Unfortunately it stopped working at about 5 months. I do believe a toy like this goes thru a bit of hell in it's life so I guess can't expect it to last forever. All in all it is Worth every penny and would buy another if I could. My lab really miss the toy. I keep it but she expects to to spin and bark but it doesn't any longer. She thinks it's dead.

The toy is fine. My dog isn’t that interested in it. The reason I would not repurchase is because my dog uses it as a lethal weapon. The blue toy part is actually very solid and heavy, so she takes the rope in her mouth and slings it, as dogs do with their toys, and whatever is around is getting taken tf out, including my ankle. It has left a dent in the wall and left me limping for days when it hit my ankle. Terrible. No weapons around a 7 month old golden retriever. If you have a small dog it would be better because they would not be able to sling it like that.

The media could not be loaded. My dog was so excited by this toy, but after she got over her fear and barking at it, she was able to “capture” it and start gnawing on it. Therein lies the problem, it is constructed of a hard plastic instead of rubber so a dog can gnaw off little pieces of the plastic and digest, ultimately she’d be able to crack pieces off. I suggest you supervisor your dog if you buy this and I’d love to see the company come up with a version that is rubber coated.

My 9 month old Husky pup absolutely loves automated balls..... she chases them around for a good while, so at least she doesn't get bored & find my new hiding spot for the spare TP roles lol (she has shredded enough to make a movie set look like snow has fallen haha). This version is the 3rd brand I've tried. I needed a 2nd auto-ball for her to use while her favorite is charging (her favorite is like a super condensed, strong Styrofoam one). From the time I gave it to her to when I found it again, was only about an hour. But in said hour she had chewed the outer shell to the point I could no longer open it. I tried using everything possible to get it opened, but nothing...... the little tassel rope??? It was chewed in half..... no longer usable. The spare rope is a joke because that would've been gone same-day too. I had to throw this away. Only 1 hour of use & it was trashed. If you have a large breed or a breed that has strong chewing, do not use this!!!! There were small plastic pieces on the floor too!!! Very dangerous for a dog to swallow....... I don't have to worry about my pup eating the pieces, because she destroys just for the fun of destruction (if you've ever raised a Husky you know what I mean). But I know of other breeds that would eat any piece that fell off & I warn you to not bother with this if that describes your pup. I assume that for all other dog breeds that are not adorable destruction-machines on fluffy legs, this ball would be okay for them.

Our dog loves this toy, it keeps him entertained during the day while I'm working (from home) and the kids are at school. We started with the interactive setting because at first the two other settings would make him nuts - he would get overstimulated. As time has gone by, we're able to switch between the modes depending on his energy level. I'd give this 5 stars, but sadly, now it doesn't hold a charge. 😭 Despite multiple attempts, after a charging session the toy desperately tries to work and dies after a feeble 1/2 spin. We got a good 3 months out of it...
