My sister has this for her baby for tummy time and it works great! I tried to get it to entertain my dog and my dog (golden doodle) just picks it up in her mouth and tries to destroy it.

The media could not be loaded. I really liked this toy, but it's not something I'd bring out every day to play with. He is hilarious in small doses. This little crab (9 inches side to side and 5 inches tall) came with a charged battery, and as soon as I switched him on, his six legs started scrabbling. When I put him on the floor he started skittering around the kitchen to a jaunty, though repetitive, tune - sideways of course! Up to a chair, back from the chair, up to the wall, back from the wall. At times he just went side to side, seemingly to make up his mind where to go next. If he tips over, his legs continue to claw the air, but he can't right himself. The second photo shows his underside. And sometimes he needs to be rescued from a corner. I'm not sure why this toy is being advertised as a dog toy, especially as a toy you'd leave out when you leave the house. It distracted my dog for a few minutes, and the cat was mildly interested, but if/when my dog decides it is a chew toy, the lithium battery inside could be lethal. The box says 3+ because it could break into small parts, I suppose. Or is that 3 in dog years? At any rate, I would not leave a dog or child alone with this toy. When I kept him going for about 20 minutes to run out the power, the "jaunty tune" mentioned earlier became somewhat annoying, and there is no off button for the sound. His eyes flash colors. It has a non-replaceable lithium battery. We are provided with a 22-inch charging cable. The box recommends using a 5V adapter. A red light on the cable turns off when the battery is fully charged. The ad for this toy says it takes 90 minutes to fully charge for a 30-minute play time, and that's about right, but there is nothing on the box about charging time or how long it lasts. I did not get a user manual for this toy. It is pretty simple, but I appreciate instructions.

This is a human toy. It is not durable enough for a dog and the box only lists the use as for kids. This should not be allowed to be sold as a dog toy because it is unsafe and the recommended use does not include animals.

I have a big dog and he loves playing with this. The only problem it will fall over easy with out him touch it

The media could not be loaded. This toy seemed durable. It was loud and vibrant. It surprisingly stressed out my little one so I did return it. This would make a good toy for a toddler or a more daring dog.

Not a chew toy but tell my dog that. No matter though, this keeps going and the dog is greatly entertained. Seems to be a chase toy for them, still sort of wondering if really intended for dogs though. Oh also, this thing is FAST so be ready. My dog goes crazy for this thing and attacks it with her play barking and running like there is no tomorrow. Never had a dog like this before so it is quite and adventure. Best, MJ
