This is far and away the best cat toy we've ever purchased - not just in terms of what the cat loves, but features that her people love as well. To start, our cat LOVES this toy and plays with it every single day. The movements are unpredictable but very prey like which keeps her engaged. It moves effortlessly from the hardwood onto area rugs, offering continuous play from room to room. It is stymied by the mat we use in the hall for wet shoes so experiences may differ but it's perfect for us. The ball even works on the carpet in the family room. Yet, for all the movement and bouncing off things it hasn't left one nick or scratch nor marred any surface in any way. I love that it's rechargeable - it charges quickly and holds the charge fairly well but our cat plays with it a lot so I charge it whenever she's napping. I appreciate the charging light and that the color changes when the ball is fully charged. The on/off/dormant features are also fantastic as they prolong the battery charge: the toy will stay on but go dormant if not touched for a certain period of time. When dormant, a touch or louder sound will get it going again, something our cat learned quickly (we routinely see her bopping the ball to get it moving). However, if left for longer, it turns completely off. It's also very durable - she's been playing with it for months but it looks like I just took it out of the package. As an eleven year old cat she's considered on the senior side but this toy has her acting like an active kitten, a definite plus!

This is the BEST cat toy I have ever purchased! It’s going on 3 days now and my 5 cats continue to be endlessly fascinated with this ball! I’m fascinated too! It has 2 speeds and ! I’ve only had to charge it overnight one time. The charge lasts for a couple of days. It’s so much fun watching my cats chase it and it chase my cats! Endless fun for all of us!

The media could not be loaded. It works the way it is suppose to. But my cats don’t play with it much because it’s to slow. I’ve tried the highest speed but it’s just not fast. It is interactive so if you stomp on the floor close to it, it will activate.

My 5 rescue foster kittens love it, when it actually works. It randomly stops after a few minutes so I have to go pick it up & “wake it up.” I have hardwood floors t/o the entire house, so it quietly rolls well, a bit slower than expected. When it’s working, it provides entertainment, but it’s for minimal amounts of time. Going to find a different one to order that will hopefully not stop after 2 mins.

Great toy for kittens, older cats & pup! I got it mainly for my kitten Gizmo, but my older cat Monkey & pup Nadie will play with it too. Gizmo loves to chase & stalk it! It's great that it doesn't get stuck under anything cuz all you gotta do is clap & it'll start up, bounce around under the bed til it find its way out. Hair doesn't get caught up in it - my hair is 3ft long, so its a big bonus that it doesn't catch it or animal hair on the ground. Easy to operate with 1 button - long press to turn on/off & short press for slow/fast. USB-C port on the side near power button, charges within 2 hrs & will last 2 - 4 days depending how much she plays with it or how often my crutches or coughing triggers it. Has a lil strip of rainbow LED lights so fun in the dark without being bright. You can add different tails they include or a light toy of your own. Will be buying more in the future to have both upstairs & downstairs

This would have gotten five stars if it hadn't disappeared completely. Don't let it run out of a charge, or you'll never find it. We live in a motorhome, so there aren't many places for this thing to hide. My cat loved playing with it. We didn't like all of the noise when it was on the tile, but on the carpet, it was fine. I loved that it was rechargeable and didn't need batteries. One day, it was gone. I've torn apart our motorhome, and it's nowhere to be found. If you live in a house, you'd better keep it charged. If I could lose it in 300 square feet, it would be really easy to do so in even a small house. It's a mystery I hope to solve one day. Your cat will love it. UPDATE: I finally found it. I looked under the driver's seat and didn't see it, but I found it while searching for something else. Yahoo!!

This is the third type of ball cat toy that I purchased. The First 2 had stabilizers on both sides of the ball. These 2 balls had good power and speed only they kept getting caught in the carpet. I have really short carpet, but they somehow kept getting fibers from the carpet caught in them. This would cause the ball to stop rolling. And to get it free and moving again, you had to remove the stabilizing arms and then take out the string or fibers that kept getting caught in the balls mechanism. You had to remove all the strings and fibers then Reinstall the stabilizing arms and then it would roll again. But at least they did run at decent speeds. The third one that I purchased with a ball that contained only one stabilizer on one side. And that one sucked. it had no power when trying to run the ball on carpet, it wouldn't go anywhere. There were two speeds that it came with, slow and stop basically. Don't purchase this ball. It's a waste of your money. There was one good aspect to this product, and it was the fact that if you lost it under the bed or something, you could talk loud. And it would, by your voice , would make noises try to bump into things so you can be able to find it easier. And actually, the 2 that actually did roll around pretty, well, they're lost somewhere in the apartment, and I have no idea where they might be.. and the third one just simply didn't go anywhere.
