Well this is the BEST interactive cat toy I have ever seen. My cats would be quick to agree with me lol. It is sleek, fast, engaging, reliable, easy to set up, and the list goes on. My cats are actually very upset when it’s not on and they’re extremely vocal about their frustration lol. I don't often write reviews, but I'm so happy with this toy that I felt like I needed to. We've only had this for a week, but it's already my 2 siamese cats' absolute favorite toy. When it turns off after 15 minutes they both come yell at me to turn it back on. First thing in the morning they go and sit by it in anticipation. The fact that they can have this level of interactive play when I'm working and can't play with them makes me feel much better as an owner. The movement patterns & random speed in auto-mode keeps them guessing and entertained for much longer than any other electronic cat toy I've gotten for them. They also run around like crazy, which is great for them as indoor cats. The bases are heavy, sturdy and seem well made, and set up is very easy. I only wish that I could buy one additional base separately to turn this into a square instead of a triangle. If you can, get the one that is square shaped instead of triangle, I think it would be worth it for the extra $10 or whatever it is! The option of 2 different sizes for the elastic is convenient - my cats like the smaller size but I switch it up to keep things interesting. Overall this is one of the best purchases I made this year!

We were surprised how QUIET it is!! Also the cats freakin' love this thing. IMMEDIATELY they were addicted. We have two Siberian Forest Cats, and they're not too active, but this toy got them moving. Only recommendation for cats who aren't used to a lot of exercise is to use this intermittently, as one of our cats was literally panting from chasing it so much. After a couple months, they're not AS intrigued by it, but they'll chase it in spurts. We will leave it on until it auto-shuts-off, which I believe is 30min or 45min. Throughout that time they'll chase, rest, take turns, and sometimes just simply watch it as entertainment. Whether they chase it or if they just observe, nonetheless, it's still entertainment for all cats! **Tips: Just like every other cat toy, you must hide the string after each use so their curiosity still holds. Otherwise, just like any other toy left out, they will become less interested in it naturally. Also, always have an eye on it or check on it. The string/pulley system can get to going fast, and the cats can definitely wrap a paw/limb/neck in the string if they get too crazy, and the motorized pulley can really tug at it. We haven't had the string wrap around a neck, but we have had it go around a limb and pull some fur. Nothing against the toy, it's just the cats playing too crazy and getting tangled like any other string toy! Never turn it on and leave the house though, this is definitely a supervised toy!

Keeps my 4 cats entertained. Put it away every three days then bring it back out for a few days ….repeat. They love it! Great exercise for indoor cats 🐈⬛ good quality toy. Two different size bands depending on size of room. Quiet. Love the speed variations and how you can adjust that depending on the cats needs and limits. Highly recommend for working humans with fur babies at home bored during the day. Goes on and off to give them a break. I added a piece of ribbon across from toy to band to entertain more than one cat at a time. Super fun!

This is a fantastic concept for indoor enrichment. It is sturdy, well designed and functions exactly as advertised. For the first few days it was a massive hit and kept my cat highly entertained and active. The build and quality are excellent, and the rechargeable battery life holds up well to continuous play. However the excitement was short lived. Within a week my cat was bored and now wont look at it even. Even if I take it away for a week or two and reintroduce it, she's 's not interested. It is a quality product that does its job perfectly - your success will depend entirely on your individual cats attention span!

I don't think it's worth the $80 they try to sell it at but on sale for 40 or 50 is great. The only problem I have with it is that the motor piece needs more rubber boots on the bottom because it moves around to easy but its not that bad. Battery life is great and will last at least 2 whole days, we typically charge it every night or every other night when we go to bed. The materials are strong and look and feel high quality.

So i watched a lot of videos on this, and then did research on it because the one i seen, was quite expensive for something that may not work well in my house, thus being half priced, i still questioned it and decided to give it a try anyway. I’m glad i did! My cats all love it, though after the first night of using it, i thought they’d chew the string, and during its pause moment, they did. I had planned on putting it away nightly, and do, after that chew one, I’ve retied IT. Works fine still and again another chew mark that can’t be pulled yet but I’ll retie, long term, i don’t know how long the string will last as it’s only been a few days, so would like to know how to order replacements when needed. However my cats love it a lot. They play with it nightly so far. This being the 4th night. I do wonder if one a little taller that they can’t sit on would be better. Cause when they get lazy and sit on it, the others can’t play, cause it stops it from moving but machine tries still so will that ruin the motor long term? Though i stay around to try to prevent now. But I’m truly afraid of them ruining the entire string too fast. Not sure which ones chewing it yet. So id love the option to buy replacements later on. Other then those few concerns, its an amazing device and im glad i bought it!

Arrived on time and as described. Why Buy *this* chase toy over others: This particular chasing toy has *free standing* weighted pads on each piece, -->this help stabilize the pads and keep them in place while the cat is playing *without* the need of straps or ties to another heavy object. This enables the set up to be free standing and without parameters that require tethering to a chair or table, etc. The toy can be set alone in the center of a room out of way. Not trip hazards for guests. Our cat LOVES this toy so much that as soon as she hears it turn on she runs to chase the "mouse". The sound is very quiet, and the "mouse squeaking" noise is able to be turned off completely. It has multiple speeds, it turns off automatically via a timer so your kitty can catch their breath, and then will turn itself back on in 15 minutes for more play. It's extremely easy to assemble. Can be used while charging if set close to an outlet, or can be charged overnight for play without the cord. The cord is elastic, which makes it fun for the kitty to bring you their catch or just teach the "mouse" by dragging it away from the toy, then zapping it back to the toy by opening their bite. Our cat has NEVER become bored with playing chase with this toy since she was a kitten (now 3.5 years old -still favourite toy). This is also a favourite toy for our grandpuppy. We had purchased a similar chase toy (blue in colour) for our strictly indoor cat and she loved that toy so much I purchased one for our daughter and her kitty. --> When I noticed this *new* chase toy (white in colour) I checked the price, comparable, but the selling point good enough to sway another high pricepoint toy she already had was --> the free standing weighted pads!!!! The toy we purchased first, then again, works just as well, but has two different features from this brand. The first chase toy had to be tied with a velcro strap to a *heavy* chair or table leg or bound to a sturdy and heavy whatever in order to keep it from moving and thus creating slack in the string which stops the game. It also came with a very good cord/string that was not elastic. This cord didn't cause a negative problem, and we later found that the cat LOVES to pull on the elastic while "hunting"; when she finally grabs the "mouse" she can bite it and drag it away from the game, show us her prize, and then just relax her her bite and ZING! the "mouse" returns to the game. --> *This* brand chase toy does have the free standing weighted pads, the elastic cord, and can be played while charging if placed close to an outlet. It only comes in white, but the white isn't a harsh white, it's a pretty white that can be wiped clean or dusted with a soft cloth. This particular brand chase toy comes with two lengths of cords, and multiple "mice". We have use both lengths depending on which room the toy is placed. We have a small cottage type house with small rooms, so we purchased the 3 piece set. (The previous toy came with 5 pieces, one of which we never used because we just didn't need it for the size of rooms we have.) We only have hardwood and tile in our home so I cannot comment on the effectiveness of this toy on carpeting. The instructions say to place the paw shaped icon (on the top of the pads) facing towards the center of the space you create, we have done this and see no advantage to doing otherwise. The pieces are made of thick plastic, (thicker, I would say by twice, than the first chase toy we purchased) -are about the size of a woman's hand give or take, and are light enough for a toddler to pick up and place, but heavy enough to not get jostled around by a chasing cat. If they do move, which in our 4 months of use, has only occurred once, they can be scooted back into place with ease. *Our* cat has loved this type of chasing toy since she was a kitten and NEVER gets bored playing with it. She will play throughout the day every day of the week. We do swap out all of her toys just to keep her on her toes, but this is by far her favourite. --> The ONLY PRECAUTIONS I would suggest are: 1. Monitoring the first few play sessions to make sure your kitty is up to the task. When we first purchased the original chasing toy she played with it so hard (at the slowest speed) she was panting and we had to shut it off and let her relax a bit before we turned it back on again. She glared at us for ending the fun, but we were afraid she would just over due it, so we shut it down sooner than allowing the timer to shut it off. Frankly, I think being an indoor cat she had never had the opportunity to run this fast chasing after a "mouse", so she needed to gain some stamina, which took about a week to achieve. The built in timer starts and stops with 15 minute intervals that help her cool down and relax before the next chase now that she has built up her stamina. 2. Remember that the cord will be above the floor by about an inch or two which can be a trip hazard, so place the chase toy out of high traffic areas and just release the cord from one of the pads if you have company. BOTTOM LINE: I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Sturdy, easy to set up, easy to charge, enjoyable play for both cats and (in our family) a small maltipoo dog, great exercise, and our pets NEVER gotten tired of playing with for 3.5 years. Money well spent!
