My old and picky dog really likes this food. He picks out the freeze dried chicken pieces first and then eats the rest. He has consistently eaten this throughout the whole bag so I am ordering another bag. This is good news because he is usually very picky and stops eating halfway through a bag.

My dog loves this brand. It has freeze dried kibbles, ratio would be in 1 cup of kibbles there would be 4 of the freeze dried kibble. Our vet recommended kibbles, “with grain,” as grain promotes heart health.

I can't comment much on the flavor, other than my dog seems to like it. 🤣🤣🤣 I have been feeding him Instinct for a while now, preferring limited ingredient because of the reduced reoccurrence of his allergies and the benefit of near zero flatulence. But I don't like that they use peas as a filler in the absence of grain (studies seem to implicate abundance of peas or legumes - but especially peas - in the diet of larger dogs can lead to an increased risk of heart disease. When I adopted my dog, he was heartworm positive. I don't want to potentially add any additional burden to his heart . Since his grain-free ran out, I thought I would try this recipe containing oats, millet, and barley to see how he does. The jury is still out on that and I'm not a big fan of grains (though far better than peas). But, other than the grains, which are 3rd or 4th on the ingredient list, I have zero concerns or omplaints about the ingredients list. Especially important too, since my dog is allergic to chicken, is that there is no trace of chicken of any kind. Instinct is one of few high quality brands that don't add chicken meal, fat, or anything else to every recipe.

If you have a Frenchie, then you know how picky they are at eating. We switched them to this and they just love it. We're on our third bag. They went from eating just once to twice a day. It's likely due to the raw infused chunks. Rather than spending money on food toppers, this is an excellent choice! Our flavor of choice is the Salmon. Their coats have been nice and smooth and we have not noticed any allergic reactions.

My dogs used to eat Royal Canin dog food. I found this brand and wanted to give my dog better nutrition. I like the concept that raw recipes are good way to keep nutrients intact. It seems my dog like the new food and their poops became less stink.
