Okay so I don’t usually write long reviews however this was one of the hardest purchases I ever made and I’ll tell you why. I looked on Amazon for about 2 weeks straight! I mean I searched for hours and hours because I’m very particular about the design type and I pretty much couldn’t find one that would 1) fit the style of my suitcase and 2) provide a cool design but subtle enough not be an eye sore. Anyhow, I have all samsonite suitcases set and the recently I bought IT suitcase set and the top handle is right in front of the pull handle. It’s not the standard design of the old school suitcase. This cover is not the thickest because I found other thicker covers however it has great elasticity and the XL fits my blue samsonite 31” (diagonal) suitcase very snug. It’s not loose however it wasn’t overly stretched out. The small cover definitely fits the carry on size for the samsonite brand and the IT travel brand as well. However it’s not a tight fit. There is a bit of room however it looks snuck and not loose. I choose this design because it displays many different popular places in the world and the colors and patterns are not hard on the eyes. It’s not a childish design. It’s pretty cute. I am a plain Jane and prefer a solid cover however I want to be able to identify my suitcase all while protecting it from scratches & dirt. I have the hard shell case and it’s very Durable however I hate how dirty my suitcase looks. I mostly use clorox wipes to wipe it down but this is a better option. I love the big cut out at the top to provide the access to the pull handle instead of the other cover that provide two separate holes at the top. I see other reviews where it ripped after first use but these airline baggage handlers don’t handle bags with much care. The one downside is that the side handle on my suitcases are not centered and the invisible opening is at the center. Either way I’m ok with it because at least I can open it to access that particular handle. Everything can’t be perfect. I think it does the job. Get it! I will update it with any new additional info.

I've had this product saved for quite awhile and finally decided to bite the bullet and take the chance before my upcoming trip. I've been forced to check my carry-on luggage in the past which always results in scrapes, scratches, dirt, etc. I have an Away brand "larger carry-on" suitcase that I want to protect in the event I'm forced to check it again. *initial inspection: fabric seems to be good quality. Very stretchy. *zipper: no issues with main or side zipper *top cutout: near perfect position for top handle and telescoping handle *size: I purchased the small size and it fits near perfectly on my Away brand "larger carry-on" suitcase. It might be a little big for the smaller version carry-on suitcase. **Note: I have not used it yet as my trip is upcoming. If I'm able to, I will edit my post to reflect how it performs in the field Initial rating: 4.5/5 stars

This was the best investment! Not only could I find my luggage quickly during a worldwide tour, but it was extremely durable. I watched as my other luggage got scratched, bang up and destroyed. This cover actually saved the condition of my luggage. It was roughed up a little bit, but it never tour and was durable for a two month worldwide tour. I would buy this in a heartbeat again for other luggage.

The media could not be loaded. At over 100 flights per year, I am probably a more extreme frequent flyer than any reviewer here. (I liked this cover because I have the one that looks like travel stickers and I have actually been to every place indicated on the cover.) Many people have said how much they liked the cover and one guy in New York said that he liked the "stickers". My trips last for months, and I generally wear out one of these covers on every trip I take. This was my newest replacement. I would say that "Number of Flights" is more important than "Distance" (though I have both as you can see), because the most punishing handling is when the bags are checked and moved between flights. How much time they sit in an airplane cargo hold matters very little. So I just flew TPA-FLL-EWR/JFK-CDG-AGP/BCN-BRU-IST-BGW-EBL-DOH-ALA-NQZ-ALA/FRU-TAS/BHK-TAS-DYU-DXB-BAH-ISB/LHE-BAH-DOH-CMB-KTM-DEL-BAH-IST-CDG-JFK/EWR-SLC-MCO with these bags. (A "-" indicates a flight and a "/" indicates ground transportation--so 29 flights in under three months. I also travelled to a lot more cities than those indicated by the airport codes above--mostly by train and now and then by bus. (For example, it shows that I was in CMB (Colombo, Sri Lanka) but while I was there I also went to three other cities in Sri Lanka by train.) This cover came through that trip with a couple tiny holes where the cover touches the suitcase hardware. I have added a video of the inside and outside of the cover after 29 flights plus numerous train or bus trips. You can see the tiny holes in the material. The holes are not getting bigger either. And you cannot see these holes when the cover is on the suitcase. Every other cover I have owned either came back with large tears and huge unsightly black marks, or didn't make it back at all. This is, by far, the best performing cover I have ever owned. I won't need a new one for my next trip--and that amazes me.

I absolutely LOVE my 3 pieces (L, M, S) luggage covers fir my new 3 piece luggage set! Shown here in the pictures is just the 28” Samsonite luggage piece. The cover has zippers on BOTH SIDES & THE BOTTOM!! I can’t wait to sport my luggages for an upcoming trip & hope that they don’t get ripped off!
