Have used this for breakfast for our dogs for decades, though the gut formula only recently. One of the best brands on Dog Food Advisor where we check for ingredient vetting and receive recall alerts. We cook dinners from scratch (Vet guidelines), but this is breakfast and easier for traveling or boarding. The dogs love it and even appreciate kibble pieces as treats. They thrive on it.

I have a 3-year-old Jack Russell Terrier / Chihuahua Mix. He love this food. His favorite part is the dehydrated chunks of chicken. He eats those out first and then goes back to his bowl later to finish the rest. He'll go stand by the container where I keep the food and bark once or twice to get my attention when his bowl is empt.
