Just received my order yesterday. I have not tried Insta360 yet, but this mic seemed really cool (and it still might be). Stereo sound with a single mic (no 2 mic rig like with my DJI kit) customizable e-ink display, way cool. I have not tested the sound ability at this time. However, for a mic like this to be successful in the field it needs one important thing. If you don't have clothing on where the clip can be used there is a handy magnet. Unfortunately, the Insta360 Mic Pro magnetic (which fastens to the clip) is an utter fail. (Even after peeling the 2 stickers off the clip). It's extremely weak. The funny thing is the non-clip facing side of the magnet is very strong. It pulls the magnet right off the clip if there is a magnetic surface to use for that test. Given the weak clip side of the magnet, I can see this falling off all the time when one is trying to film. I tried my insanely strong DJI mic magnets, no dice. I tried a neodymium insanely strong magnet, no dice. I hope I can use this cool mic, all it's features are what I want, but it won't be useful if it can't stay fastened when filming.

I’ve been really impressed with the Insta360 Mic Pro. One of the first things I noticed is how well everything is stored and protected in the case. The mics, receiver, and accessories all have their place, which makes it easy to keep everything together and ready to go. The screen on the receiver is awesome. It makes checking levels, settings, and connection status simple without having to guess what’s going on. I also really like that it supports lavalier mics, giving you more flexibility depending on how you want to record. Audio quality has been great, and the fact that it records in stereo is a big plus. And did I mention it can support up to four mics per receiver? That makes it a very solid option for interviews, group recordings, video work, and content creation where you need more than just one or two people mic’d up. Overall, the Insta360 Mic Pro is a well-designed wireless mic system with great features, a clean setup, and a very useful case. It’s easy to use, flexible, and packed with features that make recording audio much easier.

Really impressed with this! I originally ordered it because I loved the custom photo and image display feature. After using it, I realized it offers much more than I expected. It supports multiple microphone recording, single-track editing, and automatic timeline arrangement, making content creation much easier. We often do interviews and livestreams with multiple guests at the same time, so this feature has been incredibly useful. Multi-source recording makes editing and organizing much more efficient and saves a lot of post-production time.
