I am new to gimbals. I have ordered three in the last week and each one had a big enough issue for me that I decided to keep looking. This one is the one though! Here's what I love about it: 1) It is compact when both opened and closed so easy to store and easy to carry. You can see in in my photo that it fit easily into my husband's shorts pocket with the phone bracket attached (no phone) so it should easily fit into a smaller bag for carrying out to a touristy site or on a hike. 2) It is easy to set up and my phone easily balances with the case. One gimbal I purchased would balance my phone, but not with the case. 3) The tripod self stores so no carrying around a detachable tripod. You can still attach the gimbal to a sturdier taller tripod if needed. 4) 360 degree panorama. This was important to me and the reason I returned a strong competitor to this gimbal who only offered 270 degrees. 5) It does solid object tracking both by picking up when people, animals, and objects are moving around the area and also picking them up when they come back into the shot. 6) The app is easy to use and with my iPhone it recognizes it immediately for easy connection. If there is a con to this one that I do not like, it is that the app on the Osmo 6 might be a little easier to use overall. I returned the Osmo 6 due to the 270 degree panorama, but felt it is a solid option if not for that.

it works seamlessly with my iPhone 15. Pairing it was easy, and now I can quickly connect and start filming. I've tried other stabilizers like DJI, but their software felt limiting. With the Flow Pro, I can use the tracking feature on the camera app and create TikTok videos using all the visual templates. The stabilizer is also super portable. It folds up and fits perfectly into my bag. There are many creative features to explore! I like using the motion timelapse to add a cinematic touch to my videos or capturing barrel rolls with the zoom wheel. Battery life is another big win for this device. Lasting all day without needing a recharge. This is a lifesaver when I'm out and about, as I don't have to worry about it dying mid-shoot.

This product has absolutely changed my life for the better which I can't say about a majority of products I use! The main reason I bought it was because I needed a more efficient way to FaceTime with my family every night. Typically when I get home from work, I head to the kitchen to cook dinner while I let my young son play next to me. His grandparents always call when I'm cooking which leaves me chasing him around with a phone for 30 minutes. The most incredible thing is that this gimbal has AI tracking and all I need to do is open FaceTime, point the phone at my son and it'll track him while he moves around the kitchen and talks to his grandparents. That means I can focus my time on cooking. I can't say enough good things about how amazing this feature is. I also love that it has a ring light to let you know that the tracking is enabled so you don't need to keep looking back at the phone. This helps because often times I'm staring at the back of the phone when it's tracking my son around the kitchen and I can't see what's happening on the screen. I did some research and there are a number of other phone gimbals on the market but this one seems to be the best all around with largest variety of features. I also tried shooting some videos when my son was playing on the jungle gym at the park. I got some super smooth footage and had the Insta360 app edit some content automatically for me. Super nice perk! I didn't purchase it for the video footage but I will most likely be using it on upcoming family trips because of the auto editor.

Started out good until I started doing the tracking. It kept dropping me and not pick me backup. This happened several times. Now with gesture control, I would turn it on and hit the trigger for tracking and it would shut off gesture control. Unfortunately I did return it. The gimbal has outstanding features but a firmware update should correct the tracking issue. UPDATE; Insta360 reached out to me and really wanted to understand my issues. I sent them the videos I did on the review of the product so the could see what was happening. It was determined that a firmware upgrade would fix this issue. So stay tuned.
