Description

Sure Step Anti-Slip floor paint provides a durable skid resistant finish for interior or exterior application. Imparts excellent color retention, abrasion resistance and resistance to ponding water. Sure Step is water reduced which allows for fast dry plus easy application and clean up. Available in 5 ready mixed colors and white. There is also a clear coat to be used as a stand-alone clear finish. Sure Step can be exposed to light foot traffic 24 hours after application of the final coat. Allow 4- 5 days for heavier or continuous foot traffic. Sure Step non slip concrete coating and anti slip floor paint is formulated to be a performance anti slip paint for areas that require extra skid resistance. High-traffic surfaces such as tennis courts, patios, walkways, steps, pool decks and areas.

Refinishing my cement slab covered patio was a project I wasn't sure I could accomplish. I'm a 75 yr old woman who doesn't do well with extended periods outside in the heat of summer. First I removed the old, peeling paint with my power washer (1800 psi so it took a few tries). Next I filled in some hairline cracks in the slab, taped off the house siding and the bases of the porch columns. Then I rolled on the paint. I let the first coat dry overnight, applied the 2nd coat the next day. I let that dry for 2 days before putting the porch furniture back. I love the color, the quality of the paint is excellent. The paint went on very smoothly and the slip-resistant texture is just what I hoped for. It's been on now for about 18 months and has survived rain, snow, single-digit temps, summer heat and sun, and a reasonable amount of foot traffic without any breaks, bubbles or signs of wear. I would use this great product for older concrete that hasn't broken down too much yet to buy it time, or new concrete to give it an amazing cure, after the actual chemical curing of the cement or concrete. It has nice color, safe traction dried surface and is durable. Its an instant and major improvement. Prep the surface to be painted to get best results, just cleaned good for masonry. I used this product on my front & back entry way porches ( just planks to walk on, not rails) and it lasted about 3 years-ish before I needed to do some touch up. I had only done one coat, so I think that’s great. It’s thick like pudding, goes on quick & easy. This year I used it on the inside back attic wooden spiral stairs that go up three stories. Very narrow, as were most back stair cases in an 1875 house. I have slipped and fallen down those stairs a few times over the years. This paint is just great. There is enough texture and nonslip that the kids use the stairs all the time and I’ve gone from first to second floor without a problem, not wanting to venture higher. I highly recommend this paint for surfaces that are slippery or some added texture can help. Going to paint my mom & dad’s front & back porch also, I think it will be helpful for them. ... show more

I used the light gray Sure Step on our interior basement stairs four months ago. It has adhered well, seems to be holding up to daily traffic and the texture is terrific. Absolutely no chance of slipping with wet shoes! However, it does have one minor drawback. This is an interior use but when the floor gets dirty it’s just about impossible to clean. The texture tore apart a sponge so I tried a brush. After blotting up the dirty water it was a bit better, but not clean. I’d still use the product again, but just know that the floor will never look clean. ... show more

I would like a grey with brownish undertone not as bright as this grey. But I did mix in some stain and made it my color. This paint is thick and sand makes it so it’s not slippery. Great product. I would paint the whole concrete drive with this if it weren’t so long. 👍🏼

    • You need to make sure that you stir the paint quite a bit as you were putting it down.

This is a great product and it goes on Great , But you have to make sure that you stir it well and continued to stirring it while you are putting it down otherwise you will have streaks. It goes on very easily and it dries very fast. I recommend this product for sure. Be sure you order enough. I ordered 2 gallon just to make sure and 1 gallon was plenty and I still have just a little bit left in the bottom of my bucket, it is a great item. I recommend it for sure Sandy. ... show more

It has been a year now and the paint is still as nice as the day as it was painted. Nice traction and comfortable even with bare feet. The coverage was better than expected as well. The porch is 48 square feet of 2x6 pine and, after a coat of primer, I was able to put down three generous coats.

This product is so great. It played a big part in my patio makeover. I did my front and back patios with 1.5 gallons. I only used one coat which is crazy. The coverage is incredible but you still probably need to buy more than what you think you need due to how thick it is, especially if you want two coats. I was happy with one coat so I left it at that. The texture is nice and grippy. I went with the desert sand color and very happy with it. I plan on buying more to do my walkway and driveway. ... show more
