  • 70in review 5/2025
Size: 70-inch
I will update this review should anything change… Day One: This TV is amazing. By far the best value for the money I could find right now, 5/2025. Great picture in general and especially for such a large screen (70in) and great volume on default settings. I’m sure these could be even better with settings tweaks. Setup is extremely easy. No connection issues. Lighter than my 55in LG. Very snappy for such a large screen as well. Every now and then there is slight lag if moving very quickly through the Home Screen or opening an app but mostly super responsive. Even gaming is not neeeaarrrly as bad as I would have thought. Very doable when you get used to it. Obviously not an ideal permanent gaming setup, but is not impossible especially with non shooter games. Again, as of now- I am very happy with this purchase. Anyone looking for a TV this size in this price range would be crazy not to choose this one as it outshines a lot of similarly priced TV’s. There are better, but not many at all with this price/size/quality combination. TV’s are only getting better and cheaper so this may change soon. But today, I got a good deal on a very nice TV. Hopefully nothing about that changes but will update if it does. ... show more

  • Great tv for the price.
Size: 70-inch
Great value. Picture and sound are very good. My only qualm is the feet are too close to the ends. My tv stand fits a 70” but I ordered a mount since I didn’t want them right on the edges.

  • Best TV/value ever!
Size: 75-inch
I recently purchased the Insignia 75" Class F50 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV for $400 during a sale to replace my 10-year-old 60" Vizio and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. The 4K UHD resolution delivers sharp and vibrant images, making movies, sports, and games come alive. The colors are rich, and the contrast is impressive, providing deep blacks and bright whites. While it may not match the peak brightness of high-end models, it performs admirably in various lighting conditions. The built-in speakers offer clear and robust audio, sufficient for everyday viewing. For those seeking a more immersive experience, connecting a soundbar or external speakers is straightforward. Equipped with Fire TV, this model provides seamless access to a wide array of streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and Prime Video. The interface is intuitive, and the inclusion of Alexa voice control enhances user convenience. Setup was quick, and navigating through menus is smooth. The TV boasts a sleek design with minimal bezels, making it an attractive addition to any room. Despite its large size, it's relatively lightweight and easy to mount. The remote is user-friendly, and the overall build quality feels solid. At the sale price of $400, this TV offers outstanding value. Comparable models from other brands often cost significantly more, making this Insignia model a smart choice for budget-conscious consumers seeking a large-screen 4K experience. ... show more

  • Great TV
Size: 75-inch
Great quality 75 inch TV. And great value for the price. The screen is huge! And the colors are vivid and clear and distinct. This replaced a 42 inch TV and the 75 inch screen size makes us feel like we're at the game when watching football, basketball, soccer, etc. Looking forward to watching baseball on this TV. Watching movies makes us feel like we're at a movie theater. Lots of really good quality items to write about - 1) I don't get any glare on this screen (unlike the glare on the 42 inch TV screen that this TV replaced). 2) The screen is clear and the colors vivid when viewing the screen from angles, even sharp angles. Amazing. 3) This TV works well with Amazon Prime/Alexa. The channel selection responds quickly. I use a Firestick on my other TVs and there is no need for a Firestick on this TV - it's all built in and seamless, and is a great idea for those using Prime/Alexa. 4) Even the packaging of this TV was top notch. The screen was protected by what looked like 1 inch thick, very heavy and solid cardboard in addition to a thinner cardboard piece and plastic wrap covering the screen. And then a large plastic bag covered the TV. TV REMOVAL FROM BOX - FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS ON THE BOX TO UNPACK THIS TV. Two toggles need to be disengaged on the bottom of the box, and then the TV needs to be lifted high enough to clear the box via handles in the plastic bag. It is a 2 person operation, one on either end of the TV, to lift the TV clear of the box. Hope this helps folks wondering how to take the TV out of the box. It is simple to do, but you need two persons. And we made sure not to turn the TV on its side or tilt the box back to take the TV out of the box because the screen can get damaged (per box warning and instructions). 5) Installation on to a TV stand and table was simple and easy. I have the TV about 41 inches height from floor level to the screen's horizontal center line. This is slightly above or equal to eye level height when seated around the TV. 6) The TV clicker is very nice. Simple. Intuitive. And the channel selection is quick. 7) I bought this on a Black Friday sale and I think this is one of the best value purchases I've made in a long time. This 75 inch TV is highly recommended. ... show more

  • WiFi disconnects but fixed it.
Size: 75-inch
I purchased this thru Best Buy and it was $399 in their daily deal. Set up was easy and picture quality great. Easily hooked up to my Vizio soundbar surround system. Weird problem is the remote. Will only turn on tv straight on and not at an angle. But all other functions work at all viewing angles. Now to the irritating part. Tv shows low signal strength and would loose connection. My WiFi upload and download test on the tv was overly fantastic. If the tv was unplugged it came back and reconnected. The old tv had no problem and my laptop works great in that spot and I have fiber internet with an extremely fast connection. So, I purchased a TP Link AX3000 WiFi booster from Best Buy. TVs diagnostics still shows low signal strength. This booster has option to run a Ethernet cord from it to tv. Did that and now tv works great the tvs diagnostics says it’s now capable of 4K streaming. I believe the built in antenna inside the tv is the problem. If it was possible I would have hard wired the Ethernet cord from router to tv. This would be the best way. ... show more
