UPDATE: I am leaving my original review of the product below, since it represents our initial experience with the item. However, Inokraft has been very proactive about checking in on our replacement product, and has gone above and beyond typical Amazon Seller customer service to make amends and stand behind their product. Our replacement item has been working as expected and we are very pleased with the new product - not to mention impressed with Inokraft's response. TL/DR: Good chance this will break and you will be left spending even more money than the initial list price trying to correct the issue. My son received this as a Christmas present. Before he was even able to use it with paint, a piece broke off and became lodged in the nozzle while he was unscrewing it exactly as the directions said. Researching online showed that this is an occasional problem with this kit, and indicated that an "easy fix" required purchasing a $20 drill bit for removing the broken piece. We decided to exchange for a new one instead, but Amazon wouldn't let us process an exchange - instead they directed us to return the defective one for a full refund and then purchase a new one. Now that our credit's been issued, the item's price is 20% more expensive than when we bought it literally 5 weeks ago. Ridiculous all around, and very disappointed in Amazon and Inokraft.

I got this airbrush set for my son as a birthday gift! He is a beginner, and this whole set is really sweet and thoughtful. The packaging stated "Gift the power of precision" . It's a really precise quote for airbrushing and also as a gift to someone!! That's not it, what's more on the package is that you can practice on the back of the box. If you are using water-based paint, it could be wiped off easily. (They also got practice sheets and airbrushing guide!! User friendly :)) Now I would go into the set, the airbrush comes with 3 different nozzle sizes, perfect for large area to fine details. The air compressor is super steady and more important it's very beautiful. Quick-connector, cleaning bent bottle, color mixing bottle everything an airbrusher that might need is all included. After you have finished everything, you are given a storage zip bag to store all these little things!! My son literally just opened the box and starts to play with the set right away. It is like what they advertised. Worth every penny!! Perfect for beginners, and if you are planning on sending out as a gift, DO NOT HEISTATE.

The media could not be loaded. I have never used one before, went through the instructions and started practicing with water as they recommend, then added the thinner and some paint, again, as they recommend in the manual and the results you can see from my short video. The red metallic color applied very smooth and with no blotches or spatter....I will keep practicing, this is just a great tool, I was hesitant to buy one for thinking it was too complicated, but this kit broke the ice for me...can't wait to start a 40K army!!!

Wow, this kit is all inclusive and quite a buy. It comes with the compressor, three diameters of nozzles for really fine work and all the tools to keep everything clean after your work is completed. I say they've come a long way because not only are the airbuses better but they even have a water separator on the compressor. Not so much on my old setup. Easy to drain the water separator and I get dry consistent air. Best of all it's so quiet, at 47db it's almost a quiet as my dishwasher which is ultra quiet. No more loud compressor noise, on-off-on-off. Adjustable pressure at the output, a nice holder for the airbrush if you need to use both hand to move things around. Added bonus of color wheel, practice sheets, nice carryings case for the airbrush to protect it and rubber suction cups for feet to keep the compressor from vibrating off the table. The compressor seems to be well protected and vented to allow for heat dissipation. This is a nice little kit for a beginner to intermediate I would say.
