Love this product. It is easy to use and handle. You would need an extension cord for more maneuverability because cord is short. It has a fairly strong “zap” but does not hurt. You can feel a very mild warmth from zap. I’m not consistent with it so not sure the true results.

I've been using it on only right armpit and leg for the first month to see if there really is a difference... and there is! The pictures above are after a couple days of not shaving, you can see considerable difference between two sides. I started out with level 1 and 2 but now am used to level 5 and it works better. A piece of advice: DO NOT USE ON TATTOOS!! I zoned out and accidentally hit a part of my ankle tattoo and now got a painful blister with raised ink, praying it heals without damage. Aside for this painful blister, you get used to the sensation. In more sensitive areas it hurts a bit, kind of like waxing, but it goes away quick and results last much longer ... show more

I've only done 2 sessions on my arms, my knuckles, and my big toe lol, you see why I needed this product. Anyway I already notice a difference. The hair on my arm seems patchy and a lot less thick. I only have like 3-4 hairs left on my fingers and toes. The light is very bright, make sure to use the safety goggles. It is a little painful on the high level though. It left little red zap marks on my arms which is normal even for professional laser treatments. Also it doesn't hurt as bad as professional laser treatments but it's definitely a little hot and uncomfortable. ... show more

The first unit I received had clearly been used, but I easily received a brand new replacement the next day upon reporting. I’ve been using this for about 6 weeks now and am starting to see results. I am an ideal candidate for this kind of hair removal with fair skin and dark hair. I’ve used this 1-3 times per week and hairs are starting to break off and fall out. My hair growth is slower and there are patches with minimal hair at all, so it’s definitely working. I started on level 3 and bumped up to level 4 with no issues. I was skeptical whether IPL would work, but with all the money I've been spending for 30 years on razor blades and shaving cream, not to mention the time spent each day, I figured I'd give this a try. With all that's on the market, I selected this less expensive model that has several good ratings as a starting point. After over a month of using this, I can honestly say that this device is making a significant difference on most parts of my body (legs & pits). Before this, I needed to shave everywhere on a daily basis. I'm now to the point where I can go three days without shaving my legs, and when I do shave, the hairs are much finer and fewer, so shaving goes quicker. It's given me the encouragement to continue this regiment for a few more weeks with the hope that I'll only need to touch up once a week or less in the future. As I said, these results are after 4-6 weeks of regular use. Don't expect to see much for the first 3-4 weeks of use. The one star deduction is because this says it does facial hair and is for women and men, but when I read the instructions that came with it, they say it does not work for men's facial hair. From a bit of research, I believe this is because those hairs are more deeply rooted and this device does not penetrate deeply enough to kill those roots. The same thing is true for pubic hairs above the genitals. The jury's still out. Other than these areas (whiskers and intimate area) this device does work well. It takes care of everything needed for swimwear. I'm pleased enough with it that I will continue using it and may purchase a more powerful device for those other areas when I can afford it. Why keep spending time and money shaving if I don't intend to grow anything. The other thing I want to mention is that this is virtually pain-free. The only time I've felt some pain is on my chin, in which case I turned the power down to three or less. No pain on my lip or arms, and only the occasional slight rubber-band snap on my inner thighs. Nothing on my lower legs. It made me wonder initially if this was even working, but it does. ... show more
