I purchased this product for my 99 year old father who constantly has cold hands. I put knitted gloves on his hands and set these warmers to the 2nd setting. They do the trick except they are hard for him to hold, keep slipping out of his gloved hands. Another issue is that the on/off button on one side is stuck inwards so it is hard to set. It does work and recharge, but I am disappointed that I cannot get the button to come back up to the set position.

Update 2/28/2023. Changed my rating from 1 to 4. After trying this pair out for a few weeks I am less disappointed. I did not use it everyday. I only use them for about an hour or two at a time. These hand warmers turned out better than the other pair I had. They set them both on medium heat and let them run overnight. This pair lasted 10 hours but the other pair only lasted 6 hours. This pair takes a little longer to get warm and gets pretty hot within half an hour. I only used it once for charging my phone. I am hoping that this pair will last for two years or more with intermittent use. Original post: I wish I didn’t order this. First time charging I thought one piece was broken because it did not charge up. After moving the usb around it started charging. The blue and red lights on one of them come on together. Similar to another review. It does get warm after a few minutes. The two pieces are not very comfortable to hold because the are edges are raised where the magnets come together. I received a different set by another vendor as a gift for Christmas. (They look like dumbbells when separated.) It is cheaper in price and heated up right away on level one. I may order another set of the hand warmers like the ones that were gifted to me. I will have to see which pair lasts longer and performs better in the long run.

These things are awesome they are worth the price easy to use comfy to hold and nice and warm work best when you keep your hands in your pockets gets nice and toasty maybe even a little too warm but just knock it down a setting or two and perfect. Fairly durable too I’ve dropped them a couple times and still work just fine.

I like that the two are magnetized, so easy not to separate & lose. The button settings are not very intuitive, I had to refer to instructions a couple of times before I "got it". But they work fine, and kept my hands warm while walking my dog on the coldest winter days; they are also great at the barn when I ride horses in the winter. I got a second pair for my daughter, she loves them too!

My husband works in construction outside (in OH) and most of his co-workers use the (daily) disposable hand warmers. These are a much better option and save on landfill waste. They are rechargeable with 3 different heat settings. They can also be used as a single unit or as one for each hand which is handy if you aren't wearing a hoodie. I was surprised that he was the only one on the job site to get them for a Christmas gift. A few of the other tradesmen have purchased their own hand warmers after seeing his.
