  • Perfect Stability and Versatility for Sit/Stand Desk Environments
★★★★★ I recently purchased the InnoGear Low Profile Mic Arm Boom Microphone Stand, and I must say, it has been a game-changer for my sit/stand desk setup. The arm's stable, level trajectory across my workspace is a feature I greatly appreciate—it's a limitation that actually serves my needs perfectly. Unlike other stands I've tried, I don't have to worry about adjusting the mic's height separately; if I need it higher, I simply raise my desk. It's that simple and efficient. What stands out most to me, however, is the mic arm's ability to move smoothly to the side of my desk without the slightest hint of instability. In the past, I've had issues with microphone stands being easily knocked over or being too cumbersome to adjust without disrupting my workflow. The InnoGear stand, on the other hand, integrates so well into my desk space that it feels like an extension of the desk itself. This setup is perfect for me. Not only does it accommodate my dynamic working style, but it also ensures my microphone is always positioned optimally, whether I'm sitting down or standing up. It's a relief not to worry about the mic stand tipping over or having to constantly adjust it. For anyone with a sit/stand desk looking for a reliable, low-profile mic arm that offers stability and flexibility, the InnoGear Low Profile Mic Arm Boom Microphone Stand is, without a doubt, a perfect choice. It has truly enhanced my productivity and the quality of my recordings. Highly recommended! ... show more

he InnoGear Low Profile Mic Arm Boom Microphone Stand is a noteworthy entry in the market for content creators, podcasters, and anyone in need of a reliable microphone stand. Having spent a considerable amount of time testing its features, I'm here to share a comprehensive review of its performance, durability, and overall value. Stability: The InnoGear Mic Arm stands out with its commendable stability. Whether you're engaging in animated discussions or making subtle voice modulations, this mic arm remains steadfast, thanks to its well-designed base and arm mechanics. This stability is crucial for creators who demand uninterrupted, clear audio recordings without the hassle of constantly readjusting their setup. Sturdiness: Another highlight is the sturdiness of the construction. Built with quality materials, the mic arm feels solid and reliable. It comfortably supports a range of microphone weights without sagging or swaying, an essential feature for anyone looking to invest in a durable piece of studio equipment. The arm joints and tightening mechanisms work smoothly, allowing for easy adjustments while maintaining a strong hold, ensuring that the microphone stays precisely where you want it. Value: On the value front, the InnoGear Low Profile Mic Arm Boom Microphone Stand positions itself on the higher end of the price spectrum. While the initial cost may seem a bit steep to some potential buyers, it's important to consider the longevity and quality of performance this stand offers. For serious content creators, podcasters, and professionals, the investment could justify itself over time, thanks to the durability and stability it provides. However, for hobbyists or those just starting, the price point may be a deciding factor in exploring more budget-friendly options. Conclusion: The InnoGear Low Profile Mic Arm Boom Microphone Stand impresses with its stability and sturdiness, making it a solid choice for professionals seeking reliability in their recording setups. • Impressive quality for the price
The media could not be loaded. Am very impressed with this microphone arm. I’ve been moving my microphone around on my desk for months and it’s always in the way. The arm completely solves that problem. Setup took minutes. It comes with several options for mounting different types of mics. I had no issues mounting my mic to the arm. The movement of the arm is great. Easily able to swing it around and into any position. My monitor is also on an arm is sits roughly 10” off my desk. While the mic arm easily swings under it, my style of condenser mic sticks up several inches, meaning I can’t just push the mic straight under the monitor. But no worries, it easily swings around the side of the monitor so it can be tucked away and out of sight when not in used. Incredibly happy with the quality of the product. Feels sturdy and looks great. Comes with a handful of Velcro ties for cable management, but I’ll probably eventually use gaff tape to hold the cable to the arm and look better than the cable wraps. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Simple. Perfect.
I don't understand some of the user complaints. I had a $50 mic arm, and the vertical adjustment broke, I bought this BECAUSE it has no vertical adjustment and it works perfectly. Is smaller and simpler. I'm using it with a Shure SM58.

  • solid build - LITTLE flexibility
when i first found this arm, i thought it was perfect: sleek build, good quality, and under 40 bucks was pretty good! i bought it knowing that i couldnt move it up or down thinking it wouldnt be an issue, but i was way wrong. the second i set it up it just felt super uncomfortable.... i had to keep my head in one, high place for it to be next to the mic plus the fact that its low MAY seem appealing for having a low profile, i have come to realize that having it that low makes it difficult to do work on my desk, even after moving it out of the way all in all, good solid build, didn't like flexibility options. also low profile mic arms are overrated lol ... show more
