  • Inexpensive and works well
Color: White Style: Standard Mic Arm
Really simple and straightforward mic stand. Clamp holds on to the table nice and tight, the arm holds my shock mount and shure mic steady, no adjustments needed. I don’t have a huge desk so the mic is positioned behind my left monitor and is compact enough when it’s folded up so that I don’t have to worry about any accidents. You can spend 60$ at Guitar Center for a name brand, or $20 for this and they both function the same. ... show more

  • A Must-Have Mic Stand for Gamers Game & Chat With Ease! A Must-Have Mic Stand for Gamers Game & Chat With Ease!
Color: Black Style: Standard Mic Arm
This InnoGear boom arm microphone stand works great and has been a total game changer for my setup. It holds the microphone securely in place and makes it so much easier to play games with friends while still being able to talk clearly at the same time. No more awkward positioning or having the mic in the way it keeps everything right where it needs to be. The boom arm feels sturdy and well-made, not flimsy or cheap. It was easy to attach to my desk, and adjusting the arm is smooth and simple. I can move the microphone closer when I’m talking and push it out of the way when I don’t need it, which is super convenient during long gaming sessions. It’s compatible with a wide range of microphones, including popular ones like the Blue Yeti and HyperX, making it a versatile option for gamers, streamers, or anyone who uses a mic regularly. Once set up, it stays in place and doesn’t sag or drift, even after hours of use. Pros: Sturdy and well-built Easy to install and adjust Keeps desk space clear Perfect for gaming and chatting at the same time Compatible with many popular microphones Cons: None so far Overall, this is a must-have for gamers or anyone who wants a cleaner, more functional microphone setup. Highly recommend! 🎮🎤 ... show more

  • does the job but kinda loud
Color: White Style: Standard Mic Arm
it definitely does what it’s supposed to do. it was really easy to set up and it’s super flexible, you can move it around however you want which i like. the only thing is the springs are kinda loud 😭 like if i set something down or move it while i’m in a party, you can hear it and it’s noticeable. i guess that’s just how these are but i do wish it wasn’t so noisy. other than that it holds my mic well and stays in place. you can adjust it however you’d like. for the price it’s still worth it, just be aware of the noise. ... show more

  • Recommend buying this mic arm! Recommend buying this mic arm!
Color: White Style: Standard Mic Arm
Fits perfectly with my blue yeti mic! Come with directions but really is self explanatory when putting the couple pieces on it to fit my mic. Very sturdy and looks exactly as the pictures. Only my first day with it but don’t feel like I will have any issues with it and will most likely last a long time! ... show more

  • This stand works great.
Color: Black Style: Standard Mic Arm
I purchased this microphone stand because I needed something simple and convenient for narrating videos. I mounted a Rode condenser microphone with pop filter on this thing and it works great. The mount itself is plastic and seems a little flimsy, but I’ve been using it for quite a while now and I’m happy with the purchase. It makes life a lot easier to just be able to swing the microphone over when I need it and then swing it back out of the way when I’m done. Great product for the price. ... show more

  • Great price, but small and short. NOT a professional mic boom/arm.
Color: Black Style: Standard Mic Arm
This review is for the verbosely named: "InnoGear Microphone Arm, Upgraded Mic Arm Microphone Stand Boom Suspension Stand". Say that three times fast! :-) CRED: I have been in the Radio/TV broadcast industry for 30+ years, so I have worked with many types and brands of mic booms, microphones and audio equipment in general. PROS: It's cheap! I paid $13.50 for this boom which is a crazy low price for what you get. It comes with a decent desk clamp, the pre-assembled arm, a generic mic clip (which is basically worthless) and an essential, chrome metal adapter for real microphones. Given how small and light it is, I wasn't expecting it to hold my heavy Shure Super 55, but it did with no issue. CONS: The first thing you should know, is that this boom is SMALL..the pictures are deceiving. It's a "Baby Boom" as we say in the business. A standard, microphone boom arm that you might get from Broadcast Supply (BSW) is going to give you 40" of reach, bare minimum...most are 45" or more and cost anywhere from $50-$350 depending on brand. The reach on this mic boom is a short 28" from base to mount. Why are the others so big? The whole idea of a mic boom is to keep everything away from the action and clear up desk space. Away from your hands, your monitors, etc. Generally you mount the boom arm in the rear corner of the desk and it reaches up and over your monitors from behind. Since the reach on this mic boom is only 28", unless you have a very small desk you are going to have to clamp the stand on the front edge of your desk, close to you. This kind of defeats the whole purpose of having a mic boom in the first place. The microphone clip that comes with it is the basic, generic clip type, only good for a standard "stick" type mic like a classic EV-635A or Shure SM57. If you are using a popular SM58 or larger you will want to use the clip that came with the mic, not this one. A bonus is that the included clip came with a second, black plastic tread adapter already screwed in. It was easily removable, so score! A second free adapter. The really strange thing, is that inside the box I found a full 10 meter roll of PTFE Teflon Tape. The kind you use on plumbing threads to ensure they don't leak. There is no mention of this on Amazon or on the box itself, so I am not sure if it was intentional, an Amazon mistake or I got a return from a singing plumber. It wasn't needed for any of the mic boom threads, so I will use it next time I do some plumbing around the house. SUMMARY: If you are a home user with a limited budget, you cant go wrong with this boom arm. The price is incredible and it appears decently made. If you have a small work space it might work fine as long as you don't mind its very limited reach. If you are looking for a professional, broadcast quality microphone boom like you might see in a radio station control room, look elsewhere. This isn't it. ... show more

  • Very Good Budget Desk Arm for Mic Very Good Budget Desk Arm for Mic
Color: Black Style: Standard Mic Arm
Though you see my inoperable Yeti mic in the photo, it's only there because I'm waiting for my new RODE mic which should be arriving in the mail soon. Also, the Yeti is pretty heavy so this test set up gives you an idea of the desk arm being able to hold the weight of this mic without issue. Surprisingly, this InnoGear arm is made from a sturdy, smooth metal or aluminum material, and the joints / springs are nice and stiff with a knob at the center and bottom of the arm for adjusting the mic stand. I paid 80% less than the cost of a standard desk arm for holding a microphone such as this one. I am very happy with this purchase! Should something go wrong I'll be sure to return and update this review. For now it gets 5 stars all across the board. It was easy to set up as well. The directions are missing instructions on how to properly place the bottom of the arm into the part that clamps to the desk, but I figured it out. Once you place the clamp on the desk nice and sturdy and aligned, stick the end of the arm with the black round stem into the hole and tighten the pin until the arm is standing firmly on its own. You may have to loosen the silver pin a bit first to clear the hole for the pole to enter. The looks good and professional and I cannot wait for my new mic to arrive so I can begin recording my lessons again with good sound - and the mic is not in my way. Don't hesitate to purchase this desk arm. This type of product is sold for upward of $70 normally, and I'm not sure of the exact differences in the construction of each of them, but I assure you that this arm is doing the job! ... show more

  • A really good option for an entry level boom arm
Color: Black Style: Standard Mic Arm
I picked up this arm the other day to help get my desk clean of the standing mic I had taking up valuable surface real estate. I looked at things like the Rode PSA1 which seems to be one of the more "standard" options at this point, but I'm not a podcaster, I just need a good setup for work meetings, gaming, and anything else I might need--but this is for home use, not a studio. Out of the box, the setup is very easy--it's mostly assembled, and all you need to do is attach the clamp to your desk or tabletop, pop in the actual arm itself, and attach your mic. For attachment, it does come with a thread adapter as well as an angled clip, but I didn't use either of these since I had another option for those already. They seem fine and straightforward, I'm not sure if more can really be said about them. The package also includes some teflon tape. I'm not sure how valuable this is. I noticed my mic was slipping a little and getting unscrewed easily, so I applied it, and things are a little more snug, but I honestly don't think it made much real difference. That said, it's a nice inclusion since the fit might not be perfect. The arm is easy to adjust, it holds in place even with a medium weight microphone. Running my XLR cable was fine, and made easier by the included 5 hook and loop fasteners. I do have a couple of little quirks with this arm that I'm still getting used to a little bit. One, it seems to wobble quite a bit when I type on the keyboard, even though it should be decoupled at least somewhat by distance from the surface. It's not a huge problem, and I am a heavy typist, so this is probably more my fault than anything, but it is noticeable. The only thing I need beyond that is to have a ball head on this mount point--it it a bit obnoxious that I can only rotate it one way, at the end. This happens to work okay for my mic setup, because I happen to angle it perpendicular to the way I want to point the mic. It would be nice if I could angle the mic up from its position, though. All in all, it's really hard to find too much fault with this thing for the price. I couldn't really expect much more from this price point. It may not last forever, but if I run into issues like that I'll upgrade when it makes sense. For now this is a solid entry level option for my needs. ... show more
