5/30 EDIT- The seller has since updated the price to be $70 instead of the $500 at time of original review. Original: Right out of the box, very easy to plug in and use. Unfortunately this is not wireless but it still can work off a battery pack so thats our workaround. Secondly $500 (as of 5/21) is overkill for this. An equal product is less than a fifth of the price at any big box store. Aside from the very expensive price tag, the camera uses micro usb and the monitor uses usb-c so mismatched chargers as well. This is a simple fix for the manufacturing and most likely an oversight but definitely not up to date with technology and standardization. Upon plugging in both parts and turning them on, they paired instantly and video was streaming to the monitor. The video quality in a dim room was sub-par and like a phone camera from 15 years ago. The pan and tilt is not automatic and you have to actually move the camera to where you want it to point. The temperature was off by about 4 degrees which isn't good or bad for us. The night mode however is actually nice and works. Upon changing from low-light to darkness with ambient lighting, the camera was pretty accurate and worked nicely. When there is no noise or movement, the monitor shuts off until it detects anything which makes you skip a beat as you can't see whats happening 24/7. Nonetheless, for a basic baby monitor, this product works but should be a fraction of the price for what you get. This could not be any easier to set up. Just plug in the camera and aim it where you want to watch, and then turn on the small hand-held monitor. They come pre-connected. The monitor is rechargeable with a USB-C cable, and it has a decent range. The pan/tilt/zoom is really more just pan/tilt since the zoom is all but useless. It is worth noting that to operate the PTZ functions, you have to LONG PRESS the arrow keys, not just tap them. The monitor screen works everywhere in my house and even my garage, which is typically spotty with the wi-fi. The audio is crystal clear, and the picture is as well. Not quite as good on night vision mode, but still nothing to complain about. I do wish it had a visual sound indicator, but I can forgive the omission, since the ones that have that are usually expensive. ... show more

The baby camera that is not need wifi，which the feature of the camera and monitor are not relying on the Internet, and the advantage is that the baby's privacy will not be leaked. I like the camera set is easy to use, and the singal range could cover my all house. The monitor has 4.5’’ lcd screen, so it doesn't take up the phone. The camera also has temperature detection, if the poweron and needs several minutes show the current temperature. The monitor could control the camera angle when long hold the direction button. I really like this baby monitor with camera. It is very easy to set up and to use. The picture is clear and it makes it easy for me to sit out on my patio and still keep an eye on what is going on inside my house. I really like that I can use it without a wi-fi connection so that I can continue to use it even when the wi-fi goes out. It seems to be well made and solid. It even plays lullabies for your baby. I am so happy to have this baby monitor! The picture is better than that of my previous monitor that required wifi. I haven't verified the range but I can tell you it works well inside my home and even to my neighbor's front door in my suburban neighborhood. The menu is intuitive and adjusting the camera angle is easy. Night vision works well and delivers a crisp image. I like the VOX feature but I also like that I can turn it OFF if I want a continuous feed. It came with a well written user manual, along with 2 power cords and 2 blocks. The monitor is easy to set up and to use. It does need wifi so it is great that i can monitor my baby all the time even when the internet is down. It has a great frequency range better the camera and the monitor. For the price this is a great and affordable baby monitor.

Set up was easy, you literally just plug it in and it connects automatically. I did notice that on the box it says retails for $299 but clearly Amazon charges $400+ for it. I got it on sale for cheap but I definitely would not pay full Amazon price of $400+. Quality is ok, not amazing but not horrible either. ... show more
