We bought this for our grandson to use when he comes over. He loves it! It was easy to assemble. Seems very sturdy and doesn’t take up too much space. It can run off of batteries or comes with a usb cord. It didn’t have the adapter to plug into the wall, but we used a spare phone adapter.

I have 4 kids and this was the worst swing I've ever had... You have to manually push it to start it and over time it slows to a halt by itself. It's a USB-to-USB plug that DOESNT COME WITH THE USB WALL ADAPTER, so you get to just use whatever you have lying around and hope it'll give enough juice to the swing to keep it going. The C battery is too small, most chairs use D batteries since they last so much longer. You can hear it dying. I've never had the swings that use the D batteries give me anxiety. Hell, I've never had a baby swing give me anxiety. This one did. It also only has 1 vibration mode, which isn't very strong; Graco's has 2 settings, is plenty strong, and doesn't feel like it's constantly on the verge of death. You also don't need to go searching for a required, yet not included wall outlet with Graco. It's like this company wanted to cut as many corners as possible while making it still technically a baby swing. DO. NOT. BUY. ... show more

This was super easy to set up and can be used with or without batteries, you just have to plug it into the wall! All of the modes work great and the music is definitely a bonus. The top piece where the toy goes also has 7 extra holes where you can add more toys if wanted.

When I set up the swing I had the same problem as some of the negative reviews; it would not swing on its own, the lights would flash for a short time, and the music would not play for more than a second or two. I contacted the manufacturer, they weren’t much help, they just wanted a video of the problem. So I submitted for a replacement through Amazon. I built the new one and it had the exact same problem, so I knew it was unlikely that I got 2 defective swings with the exact problem so I started pouring through the instructions and trying different things until I found the problem. This swing includes a usb power cable but no plug, everything in the instructions says to use a 5v 1A power supply (the same output as the white power bricks that used to come with an iPhone), this is not enough power for the swing. I got a different power supply that was 5V 2A and the swing works perfectly. If you are having this issue with the lights flashing and the music not playing, try a different 5V power supply with at least 2A output. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I love this thing! I really wish I had something like this when my first child was born. The seat is firm and deep, everything feels safe and well thought out. Doesn’t work. It just kept turning on & right back off. Do not buy. The buttons seem cheap, music is low, vibration is mild. The swing never even started up before turning itself back off. It is small and sturdy but not worth the hassle of getting it to try and work.

Alot of reviews saying it does not swing or is not battery operated. Let me clarify some things here. The mechanism on this swing is magnetic, meaning you turn it on, push it once and it should keep swinging on its own. I've seen reviews here, where people turn it on and expect it to swing on its own, that's not how this one works. The single battery it requires is for the vibration function under the swing and not for the swing itself. You can ignore the vibration function and still have a functioning swing which would be USB powered. It is infact USB powered meaning you will need a 5v power adapter for it to work. I actually plugged it in to my computers USB with a long USB cable and it works fine. The swing is gentle, the harness can be more comfortable, assembly is moderately easy, timer feature is good, build quality is decent, not very sturdy, good safety features, good value for money if it can last up to a year. ... show more
