I had a plan to install retractable wave shades over our pool. The water is so hot that the pool is not even refreshing. We used 2 @ 6'x50' shade fabrics to create the wave shades. The grommets every 24" worked out great to create the waves. We used PVC pipe on the ends to keep it straight and to use to pull them. I guess we shall see how they hold up using them in this application.

I recently built a horizontal fence with a 1/2" gap between the pickets. I didn't want to build a horizontal board on board fence so my neighbors couldn't see in my yard because I don't like how that style looks. So, I had to figure out how to keep my privacy from my neighbors and cover the 1/2" gap in between the pickets. That's were this privacy fence screen was perfect as I attached this to the back side of the fence with cap nails and some strips of 1" x 2" redwood. It looks amazing and blocks my neighbors view just in case they want to be noisy and peek in my yard.

This screen really came in handy in keeping our new puppy from going around our back fence until we can finish installing the side fence (waiting on city inspectors). The only problem is that with this length, it's super hard to handle and put up, even if you're using it against something else like a chain link fence. I wish there were separate sections built into the material instead of it being one huge long piece. I think next time we put it up I'm going to cut it insections to make it easier to handle and less likely to blow over in the wind. We had to take this one down due to a storm that popped up and had it blwing all over the place even with it anchored down.

This privacy screen arrived fairly quick and looks as it does in the product images. The screening is a great size and the zip ties are very heavy duty, which made me feel overall that it would hold up well over time. I ordered this to add some separation between my backyard and my neighbors chainlink fence - we both have dogs and they bark constantly at one another if they’re all out at the same time. I did end up having to cut a small portion to fit it properly, but it ended up being just fine and I was still able to secure it down enough to where it still works as desired. The barking has stopped, which was all I truly needed. I would recommend this, but would also recommend checking your fences dimensions to ensure it’s a good fit. I knew it would be a bit big for mine but was okay with knowing it would need a bit of an adjustment. I’ve enjoyed it thus far.
