This remote control spider is a huge hit with my 9 year old. It handles walls really well, though it is just okay when it comes to the ceiling. One nice thing is that it arrived almost fully charged, so it didn't take long at all before we were able to get it moving for the first time. To get it to crawl on the walls, there are thin pieces of a nylon type material that help create suction when the fan is running. You just have to make sure those pieces are straight and not bent so it can maintain its grip. Even though I have a mild case of arachnophobia, watching this thing move is half the fun and it took a few pretty big falls and got right back on the wall. It’s quick and has a very skittish, lifelike movement that definitely creeps me out while we're playing with it. It’s a solid choice for a gift or just a fun toy to have around the house.

Doesn’t climb walls very well but the kids still loved it! Worked on the floor just find and started to go up the wall but would fall down. Could be that the walls fault, who knows?

When on, this fan is quite loud. If the spider is on a smooth vertical surface it can fairly reliably cling to it and move about side-to-side and down. It does not seem to have the ability to overcome gravity and climb vertically. Trying to do so sometimes results in the spider falling off this smooth vertical surface. It cannot transition from a vertical to horizontal surface, meaning you cannot run it on the floor to a wall and have climb the wall itself. It must be placed on a vertical surface. Batteries for the remote (2x AA) not included. its Chargeing almost one hour and running for around 25 minutes.

This wall-climbing spider toy is a blast! My nephew is over the moon about it and has been using it every night since he got it. It’s easy to control with the remote and climbs up walls and across floors just like advertised. The whole family enjoyed it. The rechargeable battery lasts a good while, and the red design looks cool. Great gift for birthdays or anytime fun! Great Value for the money! It's large and the red LED eyes and the legs kicking around - add to the elements. The wall “climbing” is done with a little fan/vacuum setup underneath, and it’s pretty loud, but it does help it cling when you stick it to a vertical surface. It charges with USB-C, the remote is simple for kids, and the battery is best for quick sessions (plus the remote needs 2 AA batteries that aren’t included). If you go into it expecting “fun wall clinger for laughs” instead of a precision climber, it’s a really entertaining little toy. Not sure how long it will last yet.

This toy is amazing! It crawls very quickly and looks like bright red/blue plastic spider. You could definitely scare someone if they weren't aware of what's going on. However, I have to throw some caveats in there to explain why it's only 4 stars. CAVEATS -Loud. The vacuum is very loud and that is what keeps the spider walking on the wall. - Smooth walls required: I actually don't have many smooth walls. Even slightly textured walls will greatly reduce the wall crawling feature. - Poor quality look: The spider is big and made of lightweight plastic. Unfortunately, this makes the toy look like it is a poor quality. All of that being said, for the cool feature and somewhat low price, it is a really good product.
