This paddle board has been an absolute hit—it’s given us hours of peaceful gliding and playful adventure out on the lake. It’s stable, easy to handle, and the design makes it perfect for both relaxing rides and entertaining littles. It’s quickly became a favorite activity around here! That said, I did have one hiccup: the manual pump gave out during its very first use. It was frustrating to deal with right off the bat, especially when we were so excited to get it out on the water. I had to purchase a separate electric pump, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise—but still worth noting for future buyers. Overall, the paddle board itself is fantastic and well worth the investment. Just be aware you may want to consider a backup pump to keep the good times rolling smoothly.

Beautiful board. Love the turtle design. Set up was easy and love the items it comes with. Only issue I’ve had is with the mat on the board, the dye rubs off onto your skin. My legs were all blue each time I’ve used it so far.

We ordered three of these. They work really well on the water and stay inflated. Definitely sturdy, as my partner is around 250, you can see it holds them well. They pack up quickly and the bag it comes with is easy to carry. We've taken them out three times and we absolutely love them!

My granddaughter is 11 and I purchased it for her and she loves it! It took her a few minutes to get used to it and it's perfect for our cove on the lake. I thought it was a little long for her and had picked out a shorter one but she likes it fine. Once it is blown up, it's like a hard board!

Although I’ve been involved in many water activities that include surfing, wind-surfing, skim boarding, snorkeling, scuba, white water rafting, and resort kayaking, I’ve yet to get on the water with a paddle board. I’d hoped to give the Swayit a try prior to writing this review, but life’s unexpected exigencies have not allowed me the time. That said, we ordered the Swayit Paddle Board specifically for our upcoming Hawaiian vacation where it is definitely going to get some use. We’re going to be on the island of Kauai, where we have kayaked before and are already familiar with inland waterways and protected coves that’ll be perfect for an SUP. That said, as a former surfer, there’s a high likelihood I’ll be giving this a try as a long board too. Of course, I have no doubt that the Swayit Inflatable will float, so I can give my impressions gleaned from testing its inflatability, what impression I have of its construction and durability, it’s packing size for travel, and the everything-you-need paddle board kit it’s described to be, all of the features that inclined me to order it. In general, we like to travel as lightly as possible, so the fact that the entire Swayit kit is described as fitting in a backpack for storage and transportation was the main selling point for us. In addition, it’s suggested in the user manual to set it up for the first time in an indoor environment, a suggestion I took to heart; why waste any vacation time with a setup learning curve. Removing the Swayit SUP from its pack and unfolding it takes no time at all, nor does attaching the fins, ankle leash and clipping together the plastic and metal tear down paddle; setup time is the amount of time it takes to inflate it to the recommended 12 – 15 psi. The manual says to expect around 200 pumps. I didn’t count them, but at around the 9 – 10 psi range, the amount of pumping effort required increases dramatically. I pumped it up to about 12 psi in about 15-minutes and had quite a burn in my shoulders when I was done. At that amount of inflation, the SUP is rock hard. After inflating it, each of the fins slides easily into tight fitting channels. The fins are secured with a small chock that slides crosswise through the fin to hold it in place; the chocks themselves are attached to the fins with a lanyard. Each of the three the fin mounts are heavily reinforced; both the convenience of assembly and the construction are excellent. When I ordered the SUP I was hoping that it’d be inflatable with the small battery-operated pump I own, but it’s not; the mounting socket for the pump is about an inch in diameter and uniquely fitted to the included two-way pump. The pumps’ connector twists into the airway socket of the board. Centered in the airway is a spring valve that is pushed to open or close; make sure it’s in the open position when inflating. The pump provided with the paddle board is a two-way pump that can be used to pump air in or suck it out. Both threaded directional connections sit under the handle and are labelled; be sure to make the correct connection for your intention. At the early stage of pumping there is no reading on the pump’s guage and little evidence that the SUP is inflating, so that a lot of time and energy could be wasted with a wrong connection. The included paddle has a three-part metal pole held at one juncture with a spring clip and the other with a clamp. The paddle is adjustable for length and includes hash marks with measurements as reference for future reassembly. The coiled, stretchable ankle leash incorporates a rotating pinion to keep it from tangling and attaches to a haft at the back of the board; the leash is essential for keeping the user and board fettered to one another, especially in rougher waters. In the end, the only significant time it takes to set up the board is inflating it; the assembly is simple and quick. Deflating and disassembling the board took less than 8-minutes; bearing in mind that for this review the board and all associated accessories never hit the water; everything was dry. It shouldn’t take much longer for wet equipment, but some care should be taken to remove any sand, dirt and debris from around the air valve. Aside from that, after removing the fins, leash and any other attachments, thread out the air valve cover, push down the valve and the highly pressurized air comes shooting out. Then, starting at the bow of the board, opposite the airway, I folded it over on itself to push the remaining air toward and out the airway, all of which is trouble free and took at most a couple of minutes. With the SUP now folded, and the paddle disassembled, the board with all its included equipment and accessories fit conveniently in the roomy, supplied pack for storage or transportation. With everything in it, the pack is the size of a large expedition backpack, but without a frame, padding or waist strap. The pack has lightly padded shoulder straps; however, it’s constructed from unpadded, light nylon. As such, it sags, with its entire weight compressed against the shoulders. Also, because its thin, things are poking against the back. In other words, it ain’t built for the long haul, but rather, getting from the parking lot to the beach. On the other hand, for those with the space, the appropriate vehicle or located within walking distance of water, the SUP can be stored inflated. Even then, it’s pretty light weight. Carrying an inflated SUP in a windy environment is a challenge though. My overall impression of the Swayit SUP is very positive. It’s very well made with plenty of reinforcement at all seams, giving the impression of durability; it will take a sharp object and force to pierce. It incorporates a cross hatched bungee tie down, an action camera mount on the bow, an anti-slip PVA deck, and two handles. Along with the board and its features, the kit includes everything needed to get it on the water. Swayit also provides a clear waterproof bag for a phone and a couple of repair patches. An SUP can be used for relaxation, coastal travel, or as a platform for fishing, snorkeling and swimming; just be sure there is a means of anchoring it. The Swayit SUP appears to be an excellent choice for those interested in water activities.

We have a few kayaks that we use quite a bit but none of them are the inflatable type so I grabbed this one to try. overall I would say that this should be a lot of fun and probably a real blast for some of the kids to use. Inflating is a challenge if you use the pump that they provided, while its big (about three feet high) it seems to barely get the job done. Frustratingly, they don't include any adapters to easily use an air compressor either so I had to just sort of hold my hand over the opening and push a nozzle into it. This method was a pain but did get the board aired up relatively fast, however there is no stopper inside that keeps the air from rushing back out so you need to be very quick putting the cap on. This to me was baffling because even a basic air up matress has a mechanism in place to keep air from rushing back out and yet this board doesn't. After a couple of tries I did get it aired up so that it was very firm and then it was fairly solid to stand on with no give. With that said, I did notice a bit of give and more importantly it bowed toward the center just a bit - meaning that the bow and stern came up just a bit when I stood on it. If that happens on the water and whether it impacts the ability to use it remains to bee seen but it is worth point out. The board itself is made of very durable material, at least as good if not better than our rubber raft so that's a good sign. As you can see they also include rudders for the bottom as well as an adjustable height paddle that feels very comfortable. As I said, the real test will be when we get it on the water and if things come up or if it doesn't work I will come back and update my review. For now based on first impressions I am willing to give it four stars because I do like its build quality however the issues with airing it up has cost it one star and they should update that part of it.
