I have paddle boarded a few times before on traditional solid boards and inflatables. When inflated to the recommended psi (12-15) this board feels as solid as any other I have been on. It comes with everything you need to get out on the water but I would highly recommend getting either a SUP battery pump or use some other kind of pump to get the majority of it inflated. You will quite likely be too tired to bother by the time it is ready with the hand pump. The hand pump only inflates on the down stroke and it will get the job done but would take quite some time and energy to inflate the whole thing. The instructions have plenty of information on how to setup the board but it doesn't mention anything about deflating. The valve you can push down and turn to lock it open for deflating. I consider this a major oversight by the company not including this information so I figured I would share. There are many other nice things that I was surprised to find at this price point on this board. The included backpack case stores everything easily without taking a bunch of adjusting to make everything fit just right. While the paddle is a little heavy it does have notched sides to ensure it has a solid feel when paddling. Some others I have used are just round tubes that count on the clip to keep things solid and I often felt play while paddling. I haven't had the opportunity to try it out on waves yet but I look forward to trying different fin configurations for performance. The fins snap into place easily and are secured with a little tab that locks them on. The board is very light to pack around and even has a strap that you can attach to the side of the board so you can carry it by the strap over your shoulder. This is a great option to be able to get out on the water and not require a big vehicle or roof rack to transport it there. When in the backpack it is about the size of a medium to large duffle bag and you could easily fit two of them in the trunk of a compact car and still have room for other gear. I live near three different lakes but never got into lake sports because jet skis, power boats and even kayaks are expensive and challenging to store. This stand up paddle board starter set is the perfect solution, it's got everything I need to get started and even though I'm not reliably standing on the water yet, it's comfortable and fun to straddle and paddle while seated too. I'm not an expert but the board and accessory equipment all seem well made and sturdy. This set probably isn't professional grade but it's very complete, easy to store without any special rack needed, it's fine for me to learn with at least, and I think it will last many years so long as I clean and store everything properly. For those who enjoy recreation SUP, this is it! Although it's inflatable, it doesn't feel like a pool float The materials are heavy duty, and it has the features you want in a SUP, including an adjustable paddle, an ankle tether, a hand pump, different keel fittings, a patch kit, and a few bonus items like a dry bottle (patch kit inside), a waterproof cell phone holder, and a fabulous backpack carrying bag that easily fits everything inside. I drive a 2 seat convertible and could never get kayaks or SUPs to the lake. This is the answer, and it's really a great product. The directions provide clear instruction with regard to the proper psi (15), and the different things that can affect that (hot sun, cold water) and provides some common sense security and safety advice. This is a very fair price for a full sized adult paddle board. The pump is a bit flimsy but the board itself is heavy duty and seems to be of good, solid quality. The paddle is of average quality but I won’t be going with this thing out in the ocean, but will use it on a calm lake, so I am fine with the paddle. This package has really everything you need to get out on the water. I am middle aged and the paddle board is quite heavy to carry a long ways so you may want to launch it where your car is near, however younger people might not even consider the weight. All in all, for the current price of just about $150, this is a steal. ... show more

I can't wait to get this on the water and try out. I got this because I am currently the only one that has one and everyone steals mine. I currently own a Tower board and I have to say this is not as good as mine but it is pretty close. I love that it comes with a few extras/features mine does not have which are: a carry bag with backpack straps, an extra shoulder strap to clip onto board when inflated to make it easier to carry, it has a spot on the front of the board to screw in a camera pole to use a go pro camera, it also has a waterproof phone pouch. So far I would highly recommend. If this changes I will update. ... show more

This is really has all you need in the kit and is a great solution for someone who can't store a large solid SUP or who doesn't have a pickup truck to haul it in. I got a batter operated inflator/deflator to make this SUP even more convenient and really made it hassle free. The hand pump works, but it takes time and can wear you out. The paddle board is great quality. I would say the size is better suited for a child or young teen, but works just fine for an adult who is just dinking around or laying out on it at the lake. If you want to paddle long distances I would get a longer heavier duty board. Overall I'm very happy with this one. ... show more
