I'm so excited about this kayak. I've been wanting one for years. This was a great option for us. We have paddleboards but some people get backaches after sitting on one for a while. We thought this would be a good option for them. Our neighbors have a big hard plastic one. I was worried about that because of space and for transporting it. That's one of the things I liked about this one. It's a space saver because it's inflatable. It came with the pump. I will probably use a rechargeable pump for it most of the time, but when you're away from any source of power and your battery is dead then the hand pump suddenly becomes so useful. I love that it came with a shade canopy. Such a fantastic idea. That's one of the things that can ruin a lovely ride around a lake is a brutal sun overhead. The other cool thing is that the paddles come in sections. It stores in a small area because of it, so the whole thing fits in a bag. The bag itself isn't the best quality. They call it a transport bag, but it feels thin for holding this. The price is really good. I like that they include phone pouches. I use one every time I'm near water recreating. I like using one when I'm on my paddleboard so I can take pictures. Now all that is left is to put it in the water. We went out and staked out a spot last night before it arrived so we could go out soon. This arrived today so we'll be going soon. I can't wait.

The Kayak comes nicely packaged in a 2’ x 2’ x 12” box. Unboxing it, first I found the oars. They are aluminum with plastic paddles molded to the ends and are in 4 pieces. They slide together and click in place with aluminum spring loaded buttons that lock into holes. Altogether they are fairly light weight. The paddles feel slightly soft. They may break if much pressure is put on them. Next I found the boat itself. Taking it out, it feels like a light to medium weight vinyl plastic body. It unfolds to almost a full length canoe size. There is a pump as well, and it's entirely plastic and a bit flimsy. Surprisingly, it does work. It is a manual pump so get ready to sweat this one out. It took me a full 20 minutes to inflate the boat and seat parts. The seat parts were difficult to pump air into. But I got them. I’d advise on getting an electric or battery powered pump though. Honestly it should have come with one. Assembly was next. The seats and straps to hold them go in easy. The awning, well that’s a whole different story. I assembled it on my own. Maybe with another person it may be easier, but really not sure even then. It has 4 poles. Two short ones for the top and 2 very long ones for the sides. Bending the poles is not easy. Getting the top properly attached is tricky. I wrestled that thing for a bit and finally got it all together properly. Another part of assembly is the protective handle covers for either end. They each have an inflatable part that is small. It is extremely difficult to add air and plug it before losing most of the air. Then you use the rope to tie each one on. There’s only one side picture of what threading the rope looks like - the instructions are sparse. After threading one onto the boat, I ended up with a long tail of rope. Not sure what went wrong. But I’ve now been at it for 1 hour and 15 minutes. I’m quitting. Maybe tomorrow I’ll figure out the roping and get them both attached, then figure out how the 2 fins attach to the bottom. The boat does come with nice storage bags for all the parts and one large bag for the boat. A nice added bonus is that it comes with a waterproof tool bag. It has two waterproof phone cases as well. Oh! And a very small patch kit. So the burning question, is it a good product? Depends on the use. If you intend to run it down a river where there are hazards like big rocks and branches, it might not be the boat for you. It really does not feel heavy duty enough to handle that. If you have decent water and can avoid hazards, then maybe. If you’re out on an open lake you’d be fine. It’s a nice portable way to have a boat you can easily pack. Regardless, be prepared for an hour of setup. I do recommend assembling it at the site you intend to use it. It’s not really transportable fully assembled unless you have a truck. But even then, it would bend with all the wind. Think about people that try to transport a mattress on top of their car. Mattresses are a lot stronger than this boat, and you see them folded in half by the wind. It’s an ok boat; it will float. It will be fun to use. It will only handle light use like fishing on a calm open lake or gentle open river where hazards can easily be avoided. I personally wouldn’t trust it much beyond that. Otherwise, you could be disappointed. I’ll give it a 3 of 5 stars (if purchased for the proper level of use) given the difficulty of setup, lack of a reasonable pump (even air beds come with a pump these days), a significant lack of patching materials, the long setup, and the overall light weight vinyl it’s made with. If you do buy this boat, best wishes, have fun out there, and be sure to always wear a life vest.

Okay first off let me say this thing is amazing. So much fun. It comes with everything the boat, canopy, pump, oars, and a bag to keep it in. It's heavy duty and for the box it comes in you would never think it's as roomy as it is. For the price you can't beat this. The colors are bold and bright which is an extra plus for safety so that you're noticed out in the water. I can't say enough great things about this. The Canopy is detachable, it's easy to carry around thanks to the bag it comes with. And it's so much family fun. I highly recommend
