Description

The Infinity Professional Drill Press Table is designed to fit 12" to 20" drill presses and gives you lots of clamping options when woodworking. The large 16" x 24" (15-1/4" x 23-1/4") table is made of a sturdy 1" premium plycore construction with tough Microdot laminate surface and is "balance laminated" on the bottom to guarantee that it remains smooth, stiff and flat. We also provide a center insert made of 1/2" thick material that is easily replaceable and allows you to drill through-holes up to 4" in diameter without damaging the surrounding table top. To ensure proper fitment, we install four leveling screws under the center spoil insert. With four pieces of 1/4"-20 T-tracks running front to back, you'll have lots of clamping options for all your wood drilling needs.

This drill table is extremely sturdy and IMHO the best one out there with 4 sets of T-tracks. But, the problem is they only take 1/4 -20 T-bolts. Most drill press hold downs and jigs are 5/16-20 T-bolts so most don't fit. An easy cure is just to replace the T-Tracks with Powertec Universal T-Tracks ($30 on Amazon) that make this drill press table perfect...accepting both 1/4 inch and 5/16 T-Bolts as well as hex bolts. I looked at various drill press tables, particular the ones with the low profile fences with laser cut rules, and realized that I would never use the measuring rules on those tables since they would not provide the precision I need. I measure in 32nds or even less. This table is simple to install, easy to remove and offers four tracks. I was very impressed with the quality of the table surface and the installation hardware. The packaging was meticulous ... a sign that the manufacturer takes pride in their products. I agree with the first reviewer about the t-tracks; there is nothing wrong with the t-tracks provided. But, in my shop, I have a number of t-tracks and I want to be able to use the same holddowns wherever I need them. It was no big deal to swap the t-tracks for universal tracks. ... show more

I really wanted to make my own drill press table so I started shopping for the parts and pieces needed. I found that there was no way I could create a table for the price of this one. When it arrived I could see clearly that it was carefully constructed a precisely machined. I'm a little concerned about the mounting screws for the T-slots being strong enough for lots of use. If this becomes a problem I can always through-bolt them in. Be aware that the beautiful phenolic top surface on the table will scratch fairly easily, but that shouldn't affect the overall durability. ... show more
