Amazing LED strip! From a distance, you can’t see the individual LEDs because it has a diffuser. Inside, it’s a standard LED strip of your chosen color, placed within the diffuser. The LEDs are positioned sideways, eliminating the typical effect of visible individual diodes and creating a soft, diffused light. The light is rich and bright enough to illuminate a room as a nightlight or provide ambient lighting during nighttime. I used a 12V, 1A power supply, which is more than sufficient to power this strip. However, during extended use, it may become warm to the touch, especially if installed in an enclosed space. The strip doesn’t come with connectors, so you’ll need to solder wires yourself or purchase a connector kit, just like for a regular LED strip. The diffuser is made of soft plastic and is not very flexible. I couldn’t lay it flush in the corner of a room without additional mounts. With extra effort and securing it tightly, you might manage, but it doesn’t bend easily on its own. ... show more

So I bought 4 sets of these lights and I was using them for a project that I was wrapping around a round object and with everyone of these sets of lights the led strip on the inside of the casing broke. So I couldn't use any of the 4 sets of light. If it was 1 I would say it's a fluke. But all 4 sets broke. So that's why I am giving these such a terriable review. The lights are very bright out of the packaging when they work. I hope that they will give me a refund for these. ... show more

The color looks amazing once turned in. It comes with hooks to hang the lights but they are screws so you will need a hammer for the installation. But it’s easy to use and very functional. I will def recommend this to someone
