Very good service dog harness. I have arthritis & I’d purchased a couple I couldn’t open & close so I couldn’t use them. The size & adjustable straps gave the perfect fit. Very easy to get on & off.

I have been pretty much home bound for the past few years and just recently gotten to the point where I can start going out and about again. I had a recent trip where I was going to stay with a couple of my kids and would be home alone during the day while they were at work and needed to take my gal with me so I bought this vest for her so the apartment and anyone else that would see me while I would be out in public would know that she was not just a regular pet (housing units have to allow service dogs vs pets same with stores). She has never worn a service vest before because we haven’t had the need for one because of me being home bound, but she took to it really quick! The vest for her has just become another extension of her whenever we go out and she needs to wear it. She enjoys it so much that as soon as I ask her if she wants to go to work and she sees me grab it she gets excited, jumps on my bed, and will sit and wait patiently for me to put her vest on! In fact I may end up having to order a second vest just because our German Shepherd understands what the vest is and she now wants one as well! lol! I ordered her a medium as she was right on the fine line measurement wise between a small and a medium and I felt it was better to be safer than sorry. It’s taken in as small as it’ll go and fits her just fine! I love the vest and all the multipurpose’s it can serve. I ended up even ordering saddle bags for it so if we decide to go out for an extended period of time for the day, just her and I, she can help carry extra items for me such as my meds and such. The grab bar seems pretty sturdy and well added. I can see if I got a second and larger vest for my GSD being able to use it to help pull myself up when I need the extra hand. I also love that these came with cards as well explaining our rights when it comes to having service animals. Luckily I’ve never ran into any issues yet with anyone asking but I can see where they would most definitely come in handy and helpful in possibly some of those moments if they were ever to arise!!

This is my favorite vest I've found for my toy breed service dog. Hard to find smaller sizes sometimes. I've had to order XXXS (when he was younger and training) to XXS. He's had the one that fits him now for about 2 years with no issues, durable. This vest doesn't cover his whole body and that helps with having a good portion of him available for tactile stimulation. Had to hunt for very small tactical pouches for him to carry my medications. (found some here on Amazon) I got the teal blue color both times. I might have considered a traditional red color to alert he's working, or even neon (if they offered it) so people could see him better (since he's small). I needed to buy a neon leash cover that stated "service dog - do not pet" and that has helped stopped people from wanting to pet him. The handle was also something I was looking for so I could lift him up in a hurry if needed.

My SD is 9.5lbs of an Italian Greyhound mix, an adorable handsome guy. The patch isn't big enough for folks to realize he is a SD. People constantly pet him and I come off as jerk telling them not to pet him. The jacket is the size Small and and is the best fit I've found for his size. Other brands the small was too big and extra small wasn't big enough. Not sure when I purchased it but it has held really well.

I like how easy it is to put the harness on and take it off, definitely a Plus when training a young dog. Luna is 16 weeks in the photo the vest still fits her but it’s almost time for the next larger size. The service dog patches are attached with Velcro so they can easily be attached or removed. My only complaint is both patches say "service dog" a patch that says "in training" would be nice, fortunately, I had one that I could use from another dog I trained. When Luna was 12 weeks old before she was fully vaccinated we carried her in stores in a shopping basket, with her leash attached to the basket short enough we thought she could jump out but she tried not making it to the ground because of the leash. Good thing she had the vest on and not a collar because she was fine, she could have had a broken her neck if the leash had been attached to a collar. I highly recommend the vest for ease of use and your dogs health and safety.

Update: Vest is still holding up. The only negative is my dog absolutely hates wearing it. She refuses to come to me when I have it in my hands. Nothing bad happened while she wore it or anything, it means we are going for a walk! But she just hates the damn thing and I have no idea why. =========== I scoured the net & amazon looking for a professional looking service dog vest with good reviews. When you are like me and always read the one star reviews first it makes it hard to discern which customer is a dip S and which has legitimate grief over a product. This one had the least so I went with it and so far I am very happy with my purchase. Pros Looks authentic, hell it is authentic Fit my black lab like it was tailored for her Handle is functional (I can lift her off the ground with it) Dog is comfortable in it Great price point 50 or so hand out cards that state the laws concerning service dogs Instruction and the vest were easy and intuitive to put on the dog Cons None so far, but I will update if it falls apart or something like that I highly recommend this. But it's my first day with it. So we'll see. I've been training this dog for a year and a half. Although she passed her disposition, personality and responsive tests as a puppy she has been very difficult to follow commands reliably. She's just too happy to see everyone. We are getting there but I need people to stop petting and interrupting our training in the real world. If you see a service dog, please for the love of god, do not pet it or let your kids approach it. No matter how cute the dog is or how much it is asking to be pet. People like you make it impossible for trainers like me to make a living and put the dog through more training than it should need.
