Overall I have to say that this bar cart is good value for money. Also, I’m happy to have it. But the finish on the pipes was chipped in a few places, showing bright metal under the black finish, and the stain/finish on the wood wasn’t very even. However, I felt that the assembly was pretty straight forward and if you have any experience working with threaded metal pipe, you’ll be fine making the joints match up in a steady manner. ... show more

We needed a cart that can fit our Microwave and Toaster oven that we can roll away from the cabinet when we needed to. I found this and I liked the look and reviews were good although some were complaining about missing parts and ease of installation. I received the package earlier than promised and it was well packaged. The parts we counted for, and they put in ample number of screws. The manual was perfect although there were grammar issues :). But the point came across (see photo). I decided to flip the bottom tubing to the middle shelf so I can fit the Microwave in there without having to bend too much down to use it. See photo.     • This is a kit that needs a lot of TLC!

Make no mistake, this is a kit and it is not for beginners! First of all, the pipe pieces need special attention. When assembled tight, they do not always end up in the right position. To have the pipes sit properly, I had to glue several loose fitting pipes using Loctite PL Premium. Next, I felt the finish on the wood shelves was weak. Therefore, I sprayed polyurethane on each shelf. Unfortunately, the poly had a chemical reaction with the pre stained which required me to sand, prime and paint each shelf. Also, the wood shelves did not look nearly as nice as the picture. The supplied screws did not seem long enough, so I ordered #8 x 3/4" Wood Screw 100PCS Black Phosphate Coated Stainless Flat Truss Head Fast Self Tapping Drywall Screws (B08MDXNW9X). In addition, I ungraded the overly small casters to 2" Caster Wheels Set of 4, Heavy Duty Casters with Brake (B085RQFMYR). I do think it is inconvenient to have to drill each hole! This is a nice product once you figure out how to put it together. None of the boards are marked with where to mount any of the hardware. This makes it hard to make sure the unit is square when fully assembled. Instructions are very vague and really not helpful.

Very nice cart. Assembly instructions are surprisingly good. If you don’t have a screwdriver and drill you will have to find at least, the screwdriver. I have assembled many of my own DIY pipe projects so I was comfortable with the assembly, but it could be intimidating if you aren’t used to “projects”. I purchased this cart to replace an older cart. I liked the idea of the wood with black pipe as a newer and a little more trendy look. My only knock on this whole unit is that the spacing between second and top shelf. The risers included are only 9.5” so if you have taller bottles they aren’t going there. The only other thing was that the second and top shelf have no cross bars to stop items from getting knocked off the sides or back( Maybe something for the manufacturer to update on this model). So the modifications I made were to the risers on the second shelf went from 9.5” to 12” also purchased extra tee fittings and added the cross supports. On the top shelf the risers went from 3” to 6” and added tee fittings and cross sections. Overall I would say this is a solid purchase also that each shelf has enough space to hold 15-20 bottles. ... show more

    • Not for someone that needs step by step instructions and pre-drilled holes

Nice cart that looks good once assembled. But be warned: there are NO predrilled holes for any of the screws. You will need to build each section of the frame that attaches to each wood panel FIRST, sit it on the wood and use a electric drill or driver to put the screws into the wood. Same goes for the wheel attachments - no holes drilled for these either. So if you are someone that can't even build a piece of IKEA furniture - this is NOT for you as this will require more skill and power tools. ... show more
