Compared to my other stuff flex this one I’m constantly hitting it better. My other shaft I was fading it more but after hitting both at the range during the same session this one my dispersion was much better and my contact was slightly better. Taking it to the course tomorrow and will update.

My golfer husband shares his views. "To be clear, this review is for the Newton Motion driver shaft 3 dot with a Cobra adapter. Let me explain. The shaft and adapter sent to me was correct. It was a 4 dot with Callaway adapter. After receiving it, I discovered it did not fit my older model Callaway driver head. My mistake. I called Newton and spoke with a very friendly, knowledgeable customer service department. My original, old shaft was a stiff, heavier shaft and I felt like my aging swing was losing distance. After explaining my mistake, they suggested a 3 dot that would fit the Cobra driver head I have been using. They sent out the new shaft. Their advice was spot on. After playing with the loft adjustment, I was able to dial in a ball flight that I liked and picked up my lost distance. Although it is very reasonably priced, some golfers may be reluctant to spend the selling price for a new driver shaft. For me, it was a great solution. I tried a brand new, $500 driver that did not perform as well as just upgrading the shaft to the Newton Motion and paying half as much. There is a lot of good feedback online coming out regarding this new shaft. Again, their customer service is A++."

this is a $2 shaft technology and so whippy I am slice even more. do not buy,waste of money.

Decided to give this shaft a try to see if it would help my golf swing. Shaft came well packaged in a sturdy cardboard tube. The Callaway adapter fit my Paradym head as expected. I took about 20 swings at the driving range and compared it to my usual stiff flex shaft. The Newton shaft has a pretty smooth feel and seems to work best if you have a more deliberate, smooth swing. My results weren't as good when I gave it a more sudden and attacking swing. My distance with the Newton seemed about the same as my other shaft but the dispersion seemed a little better. The purple/blue paint has a cool effect where it seems to change color depending on how the light hits it. It looks great with the blue finish of my Paradym driver head. Overall, I think it's a good shaft for the right type of swing.

The media could not be loaded. I didn’t detect any magic, but what I think this shaft does is help match your swing speed to help your swing because there’s several variations. It’s difficult for me to backup the data of me getting a couple extra yards when I associate it being because the 4 dot shaft feels a little less stiff than the tensei av blue 55 stiff shaft that’s stock on my Rogue ST Max. It’s not night and day difference from what I can tell, but it feels a little smoother if I were to describe the action. The Newton Has a slightly different tone when you tap on the shaft, although the diameter and taper looks very similar, there could be a difference in wall thickness and construction. If you’ve got a shaft that doesn’t fit you, I’m going to recommend try getting fit with the correct model Newton. It feels like a durable, flexible, and well built shaft. Adapter I ordered was a callaway and it fit perfect. Shaft came very well packaged and craftsmanship and quality control was excellent.

After wasn’t expecting much from taking this out for the first time, I am surprised by how consistent I swing with these shaft. The design really provides fluid swing motion for improved feel and control, and effortlessly transfer the power to the club for a solid impact on the ball. My swing speed was ~100 and the 4-dot option fits very consistently for me. The shaft includes grip and adapter for easy installation on my Callaway Maverick driver. I hit this shaft consistently straight. As for the yardage, it’s hard to tell with only the first time out. But overall drive I do felt it added 5-10 yards. The shaft feels fluid, solid and very good quality, and the adapter fitting was spot on. Very good quality replacement shaft.
