I was having a hard time finding this inducer assembly for my Payne (Carrier) 395BAW036060AABA, but I Googled that number and it took me right to Amazon where someone else had posted the same model #. This was an exact fit and went in quite easily. It has given new life to my 35 year old furnace. She just purrs.

Everything was good but the bracket it came with. I paid the extra to get all of this so it would save a headache. I could of ordered the parts separate and saved money. I feel multiple brackets should be included or at least an option for what bracket you need before you order. I had to take apart the old motor assembly so I could use the original bracket, other than that everything was good.

Ok, first I have to say I couldn't find the exact assembly I needed. Any vendor wanted almost $2000 for the specific assembly I needed. However, the mounting brackets aside, the fans, motor, and rubber grommets were exactly what I needed. Disassembling the parts from the incompatible housing, I was able to cut the old motor and fans off the housing part of my existing furnace and mount the new parts with ease. All in all the entire repair took about 30 minutes. Everything came as advertised and was able to complete the repair for a small fraction of what anyone else would charge. Super happy with this purchase.

The only part that worked for my furnace was the motor, had to remove the mounting plates and the fan, installed motor on the shroud from my furnace and the fan, but made a horrible vibrating noise when turned on, installed old fan and vibration stopped, new fan was warped. Thankfully the shaft on the motor wasn't bent. Due to the condition of my old motor I wasn't going to take a chance on having it die before ordering just a motor. If I knew that the mounting plates weren't going to work I would not have ordered this, but it said it would fit my Bryant furnace. Anyone need some scrap metal?

Review based on over a month of use at an average of 3x per week: Easy to install. Works great. Replaced Inducer Motor (P/N 318984-751) for an old Day & Night furnace (395A Gas Fired Induced Draft Furnace Model # 395BAW036060 Product # 395BAW036060AABA ). Note: Do not throw screws from old part assembly. Will need to use on replacement.

Although the unit is described as being a direct replacement for an OEM Carrier inducer motor assembly... it isn't! Out of the box, the mounting flange on the unit didn't match the flange on the furnace. As a result, I needed to remove the motor and fan from the new unit and install them on the old flange(s) so I could attach it to the furnace. Once install everything worked fine.. however, in hindsight it would have cost about half-as-much if I would have purchased the pieces, (i.e., motor, fan and gaskets) individually.

As stated, the motor works. The housing that comes new doesn’t fit onto it. I ordered this specifically for a Bryant Plus 80 furnace. This was not a direct replacement. I had to reuse the housings and components to fit the new motor and fan blade onto it. The gaskets that came with it doesn’t fit either. I did get my furnace up and running but this kit will require modification and removal to use the motor and fan blade only.
