The instructions were tiny. I needed my glasses AND a magnifying glass and there was still some things too tiny to read. It said call us if you have any questions; but it did NOT list a phone number! I’m not even sure what the name of the company is.

This is a nice unit but I have some reservations. With the price of this unit in mind I don't think it fair to compare against units close to double the price. This growing system is functional and works well as described. A lower cost to be able to get involved with Hydroponics. My concerns can be addressed with some self ingenuity... the unit is lacking a level indicator of any kind. I am using a dowel and as I put water in I marked some levels to get an accurate depth of the water. A nice seed sprouting system is provided, it's basic but should work well. The sponges are not the normal sponge that one would expect but again I don't see why it won't work. Sprouting some seeds today and then the will be transferred to the baskets in a day or two. Plant poles are provided which is a nice touch not found on some of the more expensive units. However, there were no covers for the seed/plant baskets once they are placed in the Garden Kit. Those covers are available to buy but for now I'm going to try and find a DYI solution. A nice feature the light stand has a longer reaching telescoping support than some of the more expensive units I have purchased. I feel it is worth the price.

Well this little grower is awesome. We just got done with our first round growing in it that is why there is no trays in it because they are being cleaned and prepped for the next round. I can not stress how easy it was to set up and grow veggies with this system. This is the first time we have ever tried hydroponics growing and we have multiple grow systems and this one has worked just as good if not better as the higher priced units. We got a total of 15lbs of Roman lettuce and it grew and was ready for harvest in less than a month. The system comes with everything you need to get started right out of the box including trays, grow sponges including extra sponges, Fertilizer A and B with an easy to read diluting chart which makes sure you use the proper amount of fertilizer. We have gotten such great reviews on the food grown in this system. Refilling the system is easy and clean up after harvest is very easy and the grow baskets are durable and reusable. Programing is very simple and once you get everything in place it is all automated. All you have to do is raise the grow light as your plants grow. The light board is supper efficient and it does not cause any noticeable changes in your electric bill. Anyone can grow hydroponics if I can do it and you will be so surprised at how easy it really is. I highly recommend this system not only because of the great price but the fact that this is a solid system that is built to last and you will be able to grow fresh veggies year round! I would give it 4thumbs up if I had extra hands so I will have to settle with two thumbs up and an A+. Again set up is simple and will take no time and the instructions are very detailed and easy to understand. You will also be amazed at what you can grow in these everything from peppers to strawberries and tomato's.

This hydroponic system arrives well boxed and is easy to open, set up, and start enjoying right away. Just provide your own seeds and water. I am growing lettuce, bok choy, arugula, and thyme and they are all delicious and look great. The system is easy and pretty much operates by itself; you just have to check the nutrient water to keep it at a good level and harvest when ready.

We have never tried hydroponics before, but this is pretty straight forward and easy to get good results. We're growing some cherry tomatoes and we started the grow as recommended in the instructions. In less than 12 days we've got incredible results so far.

This is not quite as good as the namebrand product. My seeds don’t seem to sprout as quick. I’ve only had it for about a week. And I started the seeds right away. I hope all my seeds will sprout. The seeds finally came up and now I’ve already transplanted the bok choy and a couple of lettuce plants outside in my raised beds.
