One of the tools has a 5/8 inch shaft would not fit in my tool holder accessory that I bought, however, will fit in the tool holder that came on the lathe, but tool just too large to go between the tool holder, and the work piece would need to cut shaft down.

I was really excited to receive these tools and immediately opened them the enthusiasm I often witness in my wife when she gets her goodies. The excitement was short lived as the very first tool I opened appeared to have clamping marks and wear on the index. I quickly sorted through the other tools to find one of them wasn't even the size advertised. I don't even have a 5/8 capable tool holder which is why I ordered 1/2 inch tools. The cutting grooving tool has chips in the tool and obvious wear on the index. Hoping for a better exchange. ... show more
