Fits Well, snaps on easily. Will do what i want it for which is prevent scratches on the lid and bottom. Only gripe (which i don't particularly care about) is that it's already a fingerprint magnet. For what it is i think it's a little expensive at $40. But i'd rather pay the $40 and get an apple recognized brand than some random brand and risk it damaging my expensive laptop. Installed on a 2026 Macbook Pro with M5 pro chip.

It's great! Durable plastic, slides on easily but grips on well. It matches my mac exterior so it looks seamless. It has a slightly textured edge for grip. I've purchased other generic brands, and I can't say the same for other brands. I've used Encase for a few years, and once I dropped it while at the airport; it fell out of my bag but not damage to my laptop. I'm sure there are even more durable types, but for everyday use, this works great!

This fits my 13” MacBook Air perfectly and doesn’t leave a gap, as some have mentioned. It was really easy to install, which helped out a lot since this is my first laptop :) It’s light-weight but provides for a decent amount of protection. It’s durable too and I haven’t noticed any scratches on mine, but the only thing I’m not too much of a fan of is how easily fingerprints show (as seen in the photos below). I covered my case with a lot of stickers and it helps out somewhat but they can still be pretty noticeable unfortunately. Overall a great item and I would recommend to purchase, but if you’re worried about appeals then this one might be a bit of an annoyance

I really think this is a very slick case. Does not put pressure on my MacBook Air at all and I got it for significantly cheaper than the exact same case sold at the Apple Store. Probably would not protect from an extreme fall but I have it on for scuff and scratch protection. You do want to take this off every once in a while to wipe down the computer so any dust doesn’t grind and create those small scratches due to friction with the case. Case was easy to install, it holds onto the device well, it is somewhat difficult to take off but I think that means the tolerances are quite tight. Doesn’t affect the closing of the MacBook in any way or weigh down the screen.

I'm sorry, this case is no better than the alternative inexpensive plastic cases found on Amazon. It's just a thin piece of plastic. It does fit well, clips on nicely, but there are alternatives for a fraction of the price with similar design, build quality, and protection level. From the picture it seemed this case was offering some kind of buffer to add some protection to the laptop. It does not. Additionally, it is very slick. The value is just not here for this case. There's not much added protection other than perhaps protecting from a dent but I don't imagine it would protect from much more.

I've used Incase products in the past and I usually had no issues with them; however, with the latest MacBook Air, this case suffers from some of the same issues I've seen with other, cheaper, thinner, and rigid plastic cases like this one. Pros: Very sleek design, lightweight, and conforms to the MacBook Air's original design. Overall, a very sturdy and solid product, while keeping it as thin as possible. Cons: However, much to my dismay, the top case warps the MacBook Air lid (I have the MacBook Air M3 model, which is the latest model at the time of writing this review), even when it's closed; the edges of the lid warp "up" and the closed position isn't flush. This didn't happen right away, but overtime, it seemed to get worse. After more than a month of usage, even after removing the cover, the lid stays "warped" or "curved" on both corners. Thankfully, after about half an hour of it being out of the case, the lid went back to it's original "flat" shape. I have seen this symptom of "warping" on the lid with other cheaper cases, maybe because of how thin it is, and how rigid the plastic is. The other issue (which is also common among the other thinner, rigid plastic cases that are also cheap), is that if you lay the MacBook on it's side, or with the back of the laptop down, the lid won't close; it will stay open, even if you close it; it won't close flush. It leaves a gap. If you don't have a case, this doesn't happen, but if you use thin, rigid cases like this, the problem exists.
