After trying 5 other iPad keyboard case combos, this is the one that I like the most. It is very light weight and easy to carry. I love the form factor that it doesn't take up too much room when opened or when closed. The keyboard is good that it turns on automatically when it is snapped in to the magnetic touchpoint, and turn off when it is unsnapped. The iPad turns off automatically when the case is closed. Unlike the apple iPad keyboard, this case surrounded the iPad on all 4 sides, so it offers decent protection. One minor complain is during the initial bluetooth pairing, the iPad didn't see the keyboard, and it required a factory reset. The step was on the manual and it was easy to do (pressing ESC & +=). Some people may want the touchpad, but I rarely used the touchpad on my other iPad keyboard, so I actually like that this keyboard doesn't have one. At last, nothing beat the price of this keyboard case. I highly recommend this iPad keyboard case.

Bought this to help me use and protect an iPad I got for Christmas. My wife has the Apple cover/keypad for her iPad so I’ve had the opportunity to compare the two. In most ways, the Apple is a bit better. Thinner, slightly better materials, tighter construction, etc. But, for about $200 less, my iPad cover is completely satisfactory. I use the iPad occasionally for light duty entertainment, online shopping, or just surfing the internet on a a lazy Sunday, so a $300 iPad cover may be more than I need. Functionally, the keyboard works well, the battery lasts a couple of weeks between charges, the Bluetooth connection is fast and steady and the cover protects the iPad nicely. When opened, the magnet grabs the screen and holds it in place with a solid grip. Based on this kind of soft use, I can see this cover lasting the life of the iPad (or nearly so) and I would judge it’s valued to be good for the price.

I prefer this 'clamshell' style keyboard to the apple folio design as it feels more like a laptop than a soft cover with keys, however you do lose the trackpad feature. The bluetooth sync-up is very quick, battery life is excellent, backlit keyboard is very nice to have, the shortcut keys are helpful, and it feels sturdy without too much bulk. It's also a terrific value! My only complaint is lack of a 'home' shortcut button that is present on my iPad Air 3rd gen Inatec keyboard case, but missing on this iPad A16 case...I assume it's because the 3rd gen iPad air has a physical home button whereas the A16 iPad is swipe, but I do miss the home shortcut key. Minus 1 star for that, otherwise this is a great keyboard case and a really good price point.

Lightweight, functional; great price. I have an Apple Magic Keyboard which I enclose with a leather case and love it for domestic and local use. As often is the situation, Apple makes a well built accessory BUT the keyboard is quite heavy and 6 ounces heavier than Inateck. So the Inateck what I recommend for traveling. Other pluses: 1) the IPad snaps into place which is more secure than the AMK’s magnets; 2) keyboard feedback has a nice snap to it; 3) as a Windows user, I love having a delete key that deletes backwards (the Apple delete forward key also is present); 4) all Apples keys (Command and Option) are present but also a small row of function keys, and 5) the IPad snaps nicely into place. Con: the keyboard must be charged unlike the AMK which does not; there is only won viewing angle. Some reviewers are critical of build quality; lightweight means lighter construction. I am very pleased the the price/quality of the product. Tip. If you new device does not pair, the ESC+=key combo mentioned in the instructions worked for me.

Best keyboard case you can get for the price. All of the keys feel good except the left command button gets stuck in the base sometimes. It could go away with time though. Has good battery life for a keyboard with no backlighting and the pencil loop is very sturdy. I’m using the 10th gen iPad case and haven’t had any problems. Has a decent feel and doesn’t feel as cheap as the price. Can’t really expect more than that.

Was great when I first got it. When the keypad ran out of battery and I charged it back up, the iPad didn’t recognize it. Then I disconnected it and tried to reconnect it. It would not re-pair. And it’s too late to return it. What a disappointment!

This is the BEST IPAD KEYBOARD I have found, I bought 5 or 6 iPad keyboard cases, they were either a pain to use or to heavy. This one has it all!!! Light easy to use, sets in your lap, on a lap desk, even propped up in bed!! I really really enjoy having this item!!!
