I use this every day for movies and gaming. I can't install a projector screen that hangs from the ceiling because of my lease, so I got this. It's expensive but worth every cent. It just works.

Great screen for the money.
The opening and closing mechanism works perfectly. The screen is tightly stretched and flat. My only complaint is that I wish it were quieter. The included USB transmitter for auto-open/close was a nice touch. Plug it into a USB port on your projector and the screen will automatically raise and lower when you turn you projector on and off.

The screen surface and scissor lift work. The tab tensioning strangely does not reach to the top of the screen, so with only weeks of use I’m seeing slight warping at both top corners. The real deal breaker is the on and off process. The USB receiver that detects the projector’s power state is slow but reliable. Where the system breaks down is the memory of the height the screen raises to each time. The sparse and poorly translated instructions claim the screen will return to the previous screen height every time it’s turned on. This worked okay for a week but then stopped working. My screen now raises to only half mast each time it’s turned on, forcing me to use the remote to adjust screen height every single time I want to use the screen. This makes a nonsense of the USB receiver’s function. I’ve tried power cycling the screen to reset it no luck. I’ve tried every combination of remote and built in controls to try and reset the screen, nothing works. I manage to get it working for a few times but then it reverts to only raising half way every time. Very frustrating. Few months in and this issue has got worse. The usb trigger is utterly useless now. To get the screen to raise I now have to push the remote up button four separate times just to raise the screen to a useable height. I’ve tried getting support (which is incredibly difficult) but they can’t offer a fix. Good idea, but ultimately a failed product that you should avoid.. UPDATE: Now, after just 3 months of use the screen is totally unusable. The previously mentioned corner warping now covers the entire right hand edge of the screen, 20% of my screen is now unuseable

The screen rises and lowers effortlessly using the simple two button remote provided. Required no assembly, ready to go right out of the box. Screen provides a bright picture and while it not an ALR screen, dies an adequate job of reflecting ambient light. Would purchase again.
