This has been very durable and functional. I really like being able to set the heat level and timer it makes me feel much safer. I have found this to be a great value for the money. It will bring the hot tub up to temp in about four hours in 30 degree weather

Okay. Heats up but once temperature monitor malfunction or breaks the systems breaks and will continue to heat nonstop

Works well to heat hot tub, as a backup to the built in hot tub heater, in subzero temperatures. Warms water relatively quickly. However, the user should be able to opt out of audible alarm from when it hits temp goal. Alarm is annoying.

I would give it a five but unfortunately the thermometer and temperature settings seem to be completely useless as I usually set the temperature to 108°F and decided to stick my old trusty Brewers thermometer in there just to double check the temperature and the water ended up being about 141° f and of course the timer was set for 45 minutes. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but the directions are pretty cut clear and dry. I don't know if it's worth keeping at this point but that was my experience so I will say please double check temperatures with a reliable thermometer.
