I've been very happy with many ILNP polishes, but I just did not care for Open Skies. I thought it had more of a greenish-teal metallic shimmer instead of blue diamond sparkle. I bought this for my daughter and myself because all of the reviews were great. Long lasting and doesn't chip were in the reviews frequently. Within 48 hours most all of the polish on all of the nails had worn off on the tips of the nails. No hard work in gardens, scrubbing pots and pans or dishes.... no manual labor at all. Three stars because the color is beautiful. I've had polishes from the big box stores last way longer than this. I did everything by the book. Made sure the nails were clean and dry. Applied the base coat. Waited an hour after it dried to apply the first coat. Color wasn't very dark but like other reviewers stated several coats need to be applied. I waited another hour before applying the second coat. The next morning I went about my normal routine. By noon I'd noticed that on several of the nails at the ends the polish was looking thin. By nightfall it was completely gone from the ends of most of the nails. (Gardeners reviewed this as being long lasting?) By day 3 all of the nails looked horrible. I waited a week and tried it again thinking that maybe rainy days had something to do with it. Same results. It just doesn't last as long as it should.
