The media could not be loaded. Do NOT buy this stand at full price. Grab it while it is on sale, and it will be worth every penny. Disclaimer: prolonged direct exposure to any lights can damage sensitive PSVR2 OLED screens (I should know - I used my phone light to inspect lens dust for less than 1 minute, the OLED was damaged), just to be safe, use a microfiber cloth or silicon lens-caps to block any light entering the headset while using stand. The transparent acrylic can also damage the soft rubber face accordion gasket, be gentle while setting in place to make sure the weight of the headset rests on the forehead cushion, not the face cover. *****Update: the seller contacted me right away after my review and promptly provided me a refund for my order. This has been such a relief and VERY VERY GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! This item seems to have lots of great reviews so ours may have been a lemon. We got this as a Christmas gift for my son which he opened tonight and as we plugged it in the color changed from blue, to purple, to white and quit working within 5 seconds of plugging it in. The color will not change anymore as many times as I tried and so upsetting for my son. Please contact me as I am not a happy customer and so upset by this. Assembly is easy, buy the extra cord as others have noted so the VR can charge while on the stand but please note the defect we have witnessed within minutes of taking out of the box ... show more

I got this for my son so I could stop fining it charging on the couch where we have a phone charging station. It looks great and he is using it which was the goal. It was very easy to set up. My only concern is that there is nothing to keep it in place if the stand gets bumped. Toying with the idea of adding a Velcro strip, but I am not sure that wont make it less useful. Either way I wish there was something considering what the unit costs should it get knocked off and broken. However, that's my issue and there were more expensive more secure options and this was compact and not expensive. I'm using the stand to hold my Oculus Quest (the OG). Works well, I can't really attest to the charging speed because I mostly just use it for an evening for about 30 minutes to an hour then don't use it again until the next day. My guess is if you use a USB power adapter and plug it into the wall it will get the job done plenty fast. It's bright, but not too bright, the power button is responsive, and it's form factor is very friendly to places that don't have a lot of space. The lack of dedicated spots for controllers is a drawback, but it's not as if they pretend to have anything like that. I just set mine to either side of the stand and it looks reasonable. The only downside is that it doesn't come with simple USB-C to USB-A cable. My guess is they assume you're going to use the charging cables that come with your VR system, but unless you want a huge coil of extra cable then that's not super feasible, so as stated in the title, I recommend that you get an 8 inch (6 is too short) USBC-USBA to keep the stand looking clean. Black will obviously work, but I found that getting a nice chorded blue fits with the lighting well. Hope this helps! EDIT: About a week after I posted this, the stand has started making the USB connect sound intermittently and at random. I'm going to try switching the USB port (I have it plugged into my nearby PC so that it turns off when the rest of my RGB does in sleep mode). I may have to start plugging it into the wall outlet if the problem persists. Will update further soon. ... show more

I almost had to return it as it would not charge the VR at first. I gave it one more trying working on all the connections it finally started charging and it has worked since. For the price and space saver it is differently worth it. The changing of the colors on the mount is cool and also nice to be able to turn the lights off and it still charges. ... show more

I got this and was so mad thinking I didn't have the right plug for this. YOU DO! I was trying to plug in the usb in the side and the small end to a piece I didn't have. THE SMALL SIDE GOES IN THE BACK of the holder. I can't get back that 20 minutes of my life, but you can.

The media could not be loaded. LEDs shine brightly and consistently, the stand acrylic makes for a sturdy stand, and it just looks killer. The only drawback to it is that its an absolute fingerprint magnet.
