I usually wear this stuff on the weekends when I'm not planning on seeing anyone or if I'm going to the gym first thing. It hydrates my skin, gives me the SPF I need with a tiny amount of coverage. Tips: shake this bottle for like a minute to really get the pigment mixed in. If you don't shake it well enough, you'll get a much lighter tint than you thought you would. Also, the product has no perfumes or anything, so it has a bit of a stale smell for about 10 seconds when you first put it on, but this dissipates super fast and you won't notice it again (doesn't bother me at all). Lastly, LET THE PRODUCT SOAK IN for about 10min before you even bother putting anything over it. The product is very hydrating (I have dry skin), so it does leave me a bit shinier than I prefer (some people probably like that dewy look), so I let it soak in for 10-15min then apply a little bit of loose setting powder to bring the shine down. It also does not sweat off or get gross after working out. Keep in mind this is a tinted SPF (regardless of what it says), so the coverage is very minimal. This is not a foundation. If the coverage was a little better, it would get 5 stars from me. I'm sure many people would give it 5 stars for the same reason in that it's very light. I still recommend this!

Read the reviews, shopped around, added to cart, deleted cart, added again…i have been down this road many times. But I took the plunge with Ilia and I must say I am pleased. I have combination skin, large pores on my nose that most foundation make appear larger. I usually use a powder foundation, but I felt like I wanted more coverage and a multi-benefit product. I have no problem with the scent, it isn’t off putting and it dissipates quickly. The serum spreads easily on my drier areas and I feel like I have a nicely moisturized, even skin tone without a cakey, over done look. As everyone knows, you get what you pay for and if you want inexpensive drug store products and that works for you then so be it. I was ready to up my makeup game and this is a product I intend on using going forward.

The Ilia skin tint serum is my all time favorite daily wear "foundation". I have acne-prone skin/large pores/texture. #1. This doesn't break me out. #2. I love the final glowy finish. #3. Loveee that it has SPF so I can skip that step in the morning routine... This is not 'full coverage" but I find it's plenty and can be buildable. Personally, full coverage products tend to feel too heavy. In my experience, best if applied with hands vs. a beauty blender. I do use a dense brush when I'm going for more coverage in certain areas (i.e. pimple or two). Lastly, I use the standard snail mucin as a primer (let it dry a bit first), and that has been my favorite combo. Hope this helps!

I'm obsessed and will never go back after using this. Not only does it feel great and have good coverage for a lighter makeup look, it cleared up my skin and I love that it has sunscreen in it as well! I was using heavier makeup from Sephora before, and my skin started to break out. I've been using this every day for almost two months and I love it. I add some concealer if I want a heavier makeup look. Highly recommend!

Pros: decent coverage, good quantity for the price, works Cons: terrible bottle (they should just use a pump dispenser, mine broke after 3 weeks), too dewy (you look like an oil slick so you have to use powder. Defeats the purpose of trying to consolidate products), does not last in heat unless you use a setting spray/powder and even then it runs Comments: it smells like crayons for the first 5 minutes after you apply it.
