This duvet cover is truly amazing. I don’t usually write reviews but this is honestly so good. It’s so soft but in a way that it keeps you cool at night. The material is thinner but honestly doesn’t seem too see-through. My comforter and the pillows I put the cases on are white but have some discoloration from washing overtime and the cover doesn’t show it. I grabbed this while it was on sale for $9.99 and it feels so luxurious, like one from a super comfy bed at a hotel. I spent $30 on one a few months back and sent it back because it felt so rough and cheap and just used my comforter. I wish I’d bought this sooner! It’s a bit annoying to put on (like most duvet covers) but comes with little ties in all the places you need! I am sort of a newbie to using duvet covers but in the past I did have one that was absolutely terrible. I had no idea they came with strings on the inside corners and edges to keep the comforter in place!! My old one didn't anyway. So immediately I noticed how incredibly soft the material is. I literally couldn't be happier with the material, it's perfect for bedding. It's cool to the touch and what I did was add two lightweight comforters inside and now I have that warm lofty weighted blanket. So perfect I can't get over it. I like a heavy blanket to sleep with but obviously if you don't you can just do the single. Because my comforters are white I can't really tell if a pattern would show through, I would say that it would because the duvet is pretty thin. I actually didn't realize when I ordered it that it came with matching shams! They're the same perfect material and have two little ties AND the little envelope style closure so you don't see the pillow at all or have it slide out of the case constantly. (A personal pet peeve, lol) Also the photo shown isn't exactly how yours will look UNLESS you have a box design comforter underneath. The cover is completely plain and has no stitch design throughout it. I'm usually pretty specific about my bedding, everything has to be just so for me to sleep comfortably. This duvet cover is very soft and fits well over my queen duvet. I washed it before using it and it did fine in the washing machine. I followed the washing instructions but I set my washing machine to “bulky items & sheets” instead of gentle. I took it right out of the dryer and it was pretty wrinkled but now that it has been on the duvet for awhile the wrinkles have come out for the most part. The fabric is pretty thin and sheer so I wouldn’t recommend using the white duvet cover if you have a duvet that isn’t solid white. There are strings on the inside of the cover at each corner that allow you to attach your duvet insert so it won’t move around. The fabric is soft and comfortable feeling. The price is affordable for what you are getting. The ties are cute and well attached. I also like the pillow covers which are good for small standard size pillows. ... show more

I kind of screwed up because I didn’t notice my comforter had little loops on each corner that could be tied to this cover’s corner ties — I thought there were only 4 loops in the middle of each side of the comforter. I ended up leaving the 2 comforter corners that sit in the closed end of the cover untied. So far, though, they seem to be maintaining their position. The cover is a lovely white that is better-looking than the comforter and it also effectively covers a huge gaudy logo that was printed on one of the corners of the comforter. The cover also adds a general texture of smooth puffy softness to the comforter. The queen 90x90 cover size seems to match perfectly with the 90x90 comforter. You kind of have to tie the rainbow knots carefully at the bottom of the cover or it will look a bit sloppy, so I will have to work on my tying style. ... show more

I got the white queen size set. The material is thin but feels good and feels soft. I use it as regular top sheet. The bow ties give it a nice look, they are properly attached to the material. the only thing I do not like about it are the wrinkles.

This duvet cover is very very thin, make sure you have a plain white duvet, because you will see everything. It's very soft and very comfy. It's a true white. The closure with ties is very cute, giving it a little more than a basic white duvet. I really like it. I only had to fix 2 ties when I woke up. Which is great as I sleep a little crazy. So not annoying at all. Now when I washed it, I took it immediately to the bed to put it on the duvet to prevent wrinkles. That made no difference. lol it's sooooo wrinkly, but not to the point where I wouldn't want to use it. I am tempted to spray some wrinkle release on it to help with it but not sure if I should just get over it. haha That is probably the only negative I have with it.
