Very pretty and without the inside it's pretty heavy. My problem; it's not fitting a cal king like I believe it should. From head to toe no problem, from side to side it doesn't even come down enough to where the mattress touches the bed frame. I don't understand it. This is the 3rd cal king I purchased that doesn't fit properly. So once you add the filling the sides will be even shorter. There isn't a zipper, it's buttons. Feels soft. Without the filling I think it will keep you warm. Doesn't seem breathable.

I gave 4 stars and not 5 only because the duvet cover’s opening has buttons to close the duvet in. These buttons don’t stay buttoned very well. I would’ve preferred a zipper instead, then it would’ve been perfect! No problems with wrinkle resistance so far. Sleep quality has been great

I think I saw some mixed reviews for this so I want to clear things up for people. This is a duvet cover, it does not come with the duvet. I have used it as a cover for what I use as a duvet which is a big wool blanket that is very ugly but very warm. The biggest problem with all duvet colors is getting the blanket inside to stay put on the edges, this has ties in ALL the corners as well as the mid points between each corner so 8 total I believe and it’s doing a great jobs at stopping the blanket from sliding around in the cover too much. The blanket just had a new sheet smell when I opened it. After washing it there was no smell problem at all. There was a slight smell of college dorm room sheet if that helps anyone because the bottom part that isn’t the velvet is definitely a cheaper fabric that you find when you get cheap sheets in college. That doesn’t bother me though because the velvet looks beautiful and I lay under my nicer sheets so I don’t ever feel that layer. That being said it is soft you can just tell it’s a little cheap. The color is sort of a like dark mauve pink, girly but elegant, feels really nice to run your fingers across. Because velvet has a little bit of weight it actually has felt really nice, not quite a weighted blanket but I can tell there’s more on top of me than the blanket I originally had. If you’ve been looking for a believer duvet cover but don’t want to spend over $100 on like west elm. This is definitely the one.

The quality of the quilt is quite average. The front side feels nice to the touch, but the back side feels rough. The loose threads were not properly finished — I had to trim them with scissors after receiving it. Also, there was a hole in the quilt.

Bought this for my 83-year-old mother and she loved it. It is very soft to the touch. Keeps her warm. She loves the look ot it, velvety and a gorgeous soft dusty rose shade of pink. The zipper worked fine and had some elastic for inside. Made Mom happy.
