I use these bags when I am moving and also when I am donating items that are being picked up at the house. They are inexpensive and easy to pack. I use the larger heavier ones for laundry to carry up and down the 'skinny" stairs to the basement laundry room. All in all very versatile, lightweight and easy to store when they fold up flat. I use these for carrying 1 extra large load of laundry to laundromat. The next size up is difficult to carry shifting loads of anything because of how wide it is & handles in the middle make the ends droop & spill. Folded clothes stay folded in this bag!

I love IKEA bags. I’ve been using the classic larger size for just about everything (even lugged a full cart of very heavy groceries into my car, and them home, without fear of it breaking.) I wanted to try this size because it seems more manageable for everyday affairs like laundry and as a tote bag for work related items. I’m a vendor at markets and have to carry valuables with me. I like that the bag is nondescript and doesn’t look like a purse worth stealing in case I have to turn my back. I really like this size and glad I got six. I could have wasted my money trying to find other “sturdy” bags on Amazon that might end up breaking, but these are tried and true. I love the two different length straps too—easy to carry by hand or over the shoulder. You could easily fit at least a couple—or a few—grocery bags worth or stuff in here.
