The media could not be loaded. This was one of the most thoughtfully packaged items I've ever received. If everyone packed items the way this vendor does, we would have far less damaged items. I am savvy at putting things together, but this is easy for even a novice. I had bought two of these based on reviews but returned one before I even opened one package. I thought I wanted to get a buffet-type cabinet instead of two of these so my home office would look more homey. Now I regret returning that other one. So I'm going to buy it again. Reasonably easy to assemble alone once someone helps you get it moved near where it will be set up (or you could use a dolly, I don't have one). Definitely a sturdy unit with plenty of space. Easy to readjust the shelves if needed. I'm using it as a pantry with the upper portion for alcohol and medication (I am in the process of foster parent licensure and locking up those things is a requirement). I love that I'll be able to leave the large section unlocked for food access but keep "forbidden" items locked up conveniently. ... show more

If you are expecting those thick steel type cabinets like the ones from ULINE these are not that. It is somewhat thin steel, sturdy enough for a cabinet but would certainly dent badly with a gentle kick. Came packaged well (with metal interior box ends) and assembly was easy enough. Goes together with short sheet metal screws. You cant use a screw gun anywhere but on the bottom because of placement of the screws. If you have strong hands and are using the correct size screw driver you should also take care not to overtighten the screws. I bought 2 of these, door was slightly bent on one of them and I was able to bend it back into closing flush by hand. I guess thats a pro and a con. Lock works fine, magnet door catches work fine. Leveling feet are a plus. I guess they are nice just would have liked the steel to be a little thicker. ... show more

Obviously a cabinet like this is more intended to keep honest people honest than it is to keep others from being able to get into it. So for that, it's great. It was packaged very well. As far as assembly goes...if my 5'3" 100 lb girly self could do it by herself, most anyone can probably get it together fairly easily. Directions were easy to follow. I got it done in an hour or two. I was just hoping for options during purchase for installation or putting it together, so I had to spend extra money for TaskRabbit to handle. But it's still a great purchase.
