I just got one of these. The lanyard is way too short and I'm only average in height (5' 10"). I am going to have to find something longer so the ball hangs lower. I won't know if the product is effective or not until I do. Maybe my opinion of it will improve after I get a longer lanyard? Update: after seeing my review, the company messaged me on amazon and said they are going to offer a longer lanyard in the near future, maybe as soon as next month. This device is pretty good, nothing too fancy it's just an inflatable. You could get the same results using a balloon or a ball or something similar. It seems to be constructed pretty well and seams seem to be pretty strong. I think this is a great device to use to practice and learn a swing but I would recommend using these along with lessons so that the swing coach can give you tips and drills on how best to use this device. It does help to keep your arms in sync with each other and prevent any unnecessary separations of your arms including the dreaded chicken wing. ... show more

The aid maintains forearm distance during swings and I like that it has a valves strap to keep the training aid from falling off. I play golf for a living and bought this because the thought of paying the Tour Striker guys $35 is a no for me. The quality of this product is a 2/10 The range of adjustability in the strap isn’t enough to maintain good posture while having the ball at the proper height. I'm 6'3" but it appears that these folks are skimping on the lanyard with more than just taller people. I'm sure the product will be just fine and help me with my golf game, but now I need to go find a longer lanyard if I want this to work correctly for me, frustrating....

While I cannot attest to how beneficial this training device will be on my actual golf game (I live in Colorado and golf can be tough in the winter), I can say that the product does what it is intended to do. I know I have a problem letting my right elbow flair out behind me in my backswing, and I certainly believe that using these things repetitively will allow you to maintain a proper take away. My only complaint is the lanyard is a bit short (I'm 6'2"), so I've replaced the lanyard with a longer one. I'll update this review if I break 70 or if any bad habits developed from using this thing push me above 90. ... show more

Solidly designed; has the feel and texture of a neck pillow. Comes with a small air pump if you don't want to blow it up, and stays inflated over time. Works much better than a ball for this drill!
