  • Great Price and Packed with features.
It's a good radio with plenty of features. I always had Futaba in the past but I get so much less for the same price as this one. I chose all the features this time. It works well, I don't know what the other one would get me than I don't have now except less features.

  • Fantastic basic radio, you probably don't need more.
Bought this to replace a factory radio on a model (redcat ascent fusion) whose reverse was just way too sensitive. I've been using an MT12 with it but I've handed the truck off to one of my kids and the factory radio really stinks. This radio is pretty basic when compared to something like the MT12 but it does cover all the programmable radio must haves. Was very simple to set custom throttle rates and the truck is back to driving 100x better than the factory radio. I like "tinkering" with the MT12 which runs edge TX but I could totally live with this MUCH cheaper and easier to use radio. It's a massive upgrade over factory garbage. Will be buying another for my wife's TRX4 as well. ... show more

  • Great range and tons of features.
This transmitter is awesome. I purchased it for my Arrma Kraton 8S and have been using it for about two years now with zero major issues. The range is excellent and it’s plenty responsive for my needs. It also has a bunch of adjustments and addressable knobs and switches so it should work for most applications. The only issue I’ve had with it is the receiver battery voltage telemetry is not accurate. When monitoring 8S voltage it’s off by almost 1VDC which is significant. I haven’t been able to figure out a way to calibrate it so I ended up just purchasing an external volt meter that is attached to the body of the vehicle so I can just glance at it from time to time. I have not had a chance to experiment with the other telemetry options but I believe there are modules you can purchase to receive telemetry inputs right on the receiver and they’re all pretty cheap compared to some of their competitors. Prior to this I had a flysky radio and the transmitter steering knob broke in about a week. After going back-and-forth with the manufacturer for months trying to get a replacement part, they finally mailed me the wrong part so I gave up on it. I was considering purchasing a more expensive radio but for my needs this ended up being perfect. ... show more

  • Affordable and Fairly easy to configure.
Recently got back into the Hobby of RC and began stacking vehicles, with that, controllers. I wanted to reduce the number of controllers and decided to go with this one due to the various options with receivers having gyro functions as well as non gyro from 4-7 channels. Up to 30 name-able, configurable vehicles can be stored. It is feature reach and all the switches can be mapped to the users liking. The instructions for doing so are fairly easy to understand through the instruction manual which will be kept in a drawer somewhere for future reference. The build quality is impressive. The controller does not look nor feel "cheap". The LCD is easy to read and displays more information than I need to successfully perform the driving scenarios that I will encounter. It also seems to be water resistant because I have gotten it wet without any failures yet. It takes 6 AA batteries or can use a small lipo pack. I use rechargeable AA and have yet to need a recharge after 10 or more hours of bashing and configuring the controller. It also has adjustable low voltage reminders for both controller and vehicle(with the right receiver). For what this cost and the features that it has available topped with a ton of receiver storage, I would definitely reccomend. 👌 ... show more

  • Great, cheap radio.
This thing is great. I've previously used Spektrum, Futaba, and Sanwa on my RC cars. The RC6GS is styled just like a DX3R, but it absolutely crushes the Spektrum on range and price. I needed a new remote for my kid's Traxxas Slash, and this was the perfect blend of cheap and functional. It was pre-bound to the receiver, so it was easy to setup. 10/10 would recommend, no more $300 radios for us. ... show more

  • A new radio isn't worth it.
They changed the interface on the RC6GS Radio—it's way too complicated now and the values aren't even consecutive. RadioLink is using some kind of reverse logic in the seconds menu that’s enough to drive anyone crazy. I don't recommend upgrading the RC6GS; I'm sticking with my RC4GS."
