As compared to my old cooler, this one has a lid that hinges in a way as to intrude on the opening so that you have to put containers at an angle to get them in and out of the cooler. The lid also closes a bit loosely seeming closed more by gravity than tension. And the handle falls back into low profile position with an extremely loud slap -- so loud that it wakes my wife up in the bedroom with the door closed and the sound machine on when I come home late and am in the kitchen, unloading. I bought this to keep drinks cold in my room. It's as advertised and is relatively durable and easy to carry around with it's large handle. It holds 24 oz cans and even my 45 oz blender bottle with ease. However, with room-temp. surroundings the ice melts after about 24 hours, for reference higher-end coolers (RTIC, ORCA, Yeti) can keep ice in them for 3-4 days without melting. It's not a big deal considering this cooler is less than a fraction of their cost but is good to know. Overall, I would recommend this cooler - but expect to refill it with ice every 24 hours. ... show more

Well insulated, this is a very handy, conveniently sized cooler that really keeps the ice from melting very well. At least 24 hours. My only dislike is that I found it for $14 less at a local supermarket two weeks after my purchase.
