I've never used polymer clay before, but I wanted to try! I know some of the more "professional" quality brands are more $$ so I had low expectations with this set... however, I think its amazing! (keep in mind, I don't have anything to compare it to) since it's my first time trying polymer clay what I liked was: 1. the carrying case is cute:) 2. LOTS of colors! I think there is some really sick colors, like the neons + pinks, (I will say, there's a bunch of colors I don't like-but, my plan is so make something and paint it) that way I dont waste the colors I dont like 3. love that it comes with tools to play around with 4. most importantly: I've been super stressed lately, and sitting down and playing with this (just literally mushing it with my hands at my table) as a 32 year old adult, has been such a stress reliever. I got this kit to play around and have some fun with my kids. We are having a blast with it! The clay itself is easy to work with, stays moist (sorry, but it's true), and bakes up perfectly. It seems, to inexperienced me, to be the same quality as the Sculpey I have. So soft and easy to work with, but not too soft that it's easy to accidentally squish anything. The tools are super helpful, and while they are plastic they are very sturdy and durable. There is a nice variety included, was able to make all kinds of projects. The included ring base, beads, and pin base aren't the best quality, and I found myself wishing they had just put more key rings and shape needles in instead. The phone chains are strings and the jump rings have a tendency to open. Again, wish they'd put more shape needles or key rings in. The packaging is cute and not overdone, yay for the environment. It is also sturdy enough to hold everything and stand up to repeated use. I was really surprised at the high quality of the clay and tools offered and would 100% absolutely buy this again. ... show more

I gave this as an early Christmas gift to my two youngest grandkids so they could make Christmas tree ornaments and much to my delight and surprise it was a huge hit with the entire family. Absolutely everyone from the neighbour kids to the adults joined in and spent hours making ornaments and keepsakes. Super easy to mold and to bake. The only reason this item hasn’t received 5 stars is the accessories sold with the clay fell a little short of expectations and practical use. Otherwise it was a wildly successful gift! I bought one that said like returned but all in original packaging or something, it was only $18 compared to the normal price, 25 dollars i think. It came with every piece and looked brand new. Haven't tried all the clay yet but so far it seems like decent clay

This was an excellent value for what I used it for (a kids crafting class). I had the class put the clay over aluminum foil and the oiliness didn’t matter so much because of that strategy.
